HYPE
Americans don't like to use unblockables, it is considered not honest. You press a button at the wrong time and hit the other person, you are random, not a top player. You DP Sim's far fierce, it is random and not honest.

Frankly, I don't like Teamliquid's rapid expansion. For eons, it was known as the most elite Starcraft site in the net, the site where the pros hung out, feared by some for its fierce moderation. The release of SC2 changed little about that. There were also subforums for a select few other games, sure why not. It was still the same community, where everyone had once joined for Starcraft. Then Dota2 got its own separate sister site, then Hearthstone, Smash, and now LoL and CS:GO. With the fragmentation, it feels like Teamliquid lost its soul. What was once a tightly knit community with great love for Starcraft is now a multigaming team like many others, a mere site network with shared general forums. At least that's my subjective feeling.

I know what you mean, but imo the time when people concentrated on only one game as esport and ignored the others is in the past. Fans know how to appreciate quality content, great games and intense competition, regardless of the shape and form those are presented in. Also having your favorite teams branch out into different games certainly helps diversify interest and learn and see new stuff. My first encounter with CS:GO was at DH winter, it absolutely took me by surprise how awesome it was, I really enjoyed it, now with a TL team I also have a reason to follow the scene closely and watch our matches.

I don't like how we segmented our community in different sites and would love for everything to come back together under one roof. But we will have to redesign the site completely, besides can we have all of TL with all games under one roof right now? Personally would love to see one home one TL for all games and interests some day...

Woooo

I haven't followed much SC2 in the past couple years but the TeamLiquid bookmark never went away. Now more reason to lurk the website again.

Seems like wasted money to me to sign a NA team, but i guess there is always ESEA and CEVO.

Coincidentally, it's down right now. Maybe TL is trying to integrate it into liquipedia.

No it's just them having hosting issues. (AFAIK)

The amount of excited that I am is undefinable. Not even infinity can match how happy it makes me to see Liquid's continued expansion into other competitive video games. I can't wait to see what your DotA team will look like....

When Dota was added I knew it was just a matter of time till they picked up the rest. Happy to have a TL team to root for now in all the major esports

So from what I gather TL is quickly entering the scenes of other games but doesn't really give that much attention to existing ones? Wouldn't it be better to first focus on the ones we already have first?
