the bad feelings are a bit hilarious in context We tried so hardddddd, and got so faaarrrrrrr Does anyone know a good snes emulator for pc? I haven't been following this run closely enough to spoil myself, but what i've seen is enough to make me really want to play it. http://www.zsnes.com/ It depends on how much you care about accurate emulation. ZSNES is notorious in the speedrunning community (it's banned on SRL) for not emulating lag and other various factors. For near-perfect emulation of SNES games, use higan (formerly known as BSNES). Another decent, less resource-intensive option is snes9x. In the end, it's up to you how much you want to trade off total authenticity for ease-of-use.
I use 9x normally.
He just wants to play CT, I don't think he's trying to speedrun it or anything

Maybe he wanted to play it exactly as people experienced it in 1994 -- I figured it couldn't hurt to present the options. Plus, I just find the variety in emulators a pretty interesting topic.

yeah :p, never actually played on an actual snes before, but surely having no lag is actually a bonus unless you're speedrunning?

I personally prefer Snes9x as it has a more cleaner interface.
ZSNES still has that weird DOS look.

If he just wants to play, why not use a DS emulator and play the DS version.
I've played it on a proper DS however. So I can't say how good the emulator counterparts are.

Darn, I really wanted to type:
YER a WIZARD, R1CH~!
When Magus got named. Too bad it won't happen. Unless some guy pulls 1,402 USD out of a hat.

Could do that, the DS version has extra cutscenes and stuff the SNES version doesn't have, iirc.

It's amazing how the curve has gone even steeper high and it's getting close to a million.

I'm trying to donate but it never gets to the paypal page. All i see is a donate button at the bottom and it says it needs to be a positive value. Is there something I'm missing?
