Basically the same time estimate kind of too. I have 0 interest in pokemon as a game and lots in HotS, but for speedrunning HotS is incredibly dumb and pokemon is interesting. I don't see how speedrunning HOTS is incredibly dumb while pokemon isn't? If you're calling a Pokemon game "dumb" to speedrun, you really have no idea what you're talking about. It's not dumb, it's just not very interesting (to me, anyhow). It does require a ton of planning and luck, but neither is what I'm interested in when watching a run.

He had bad luck the entire game that his Seth barely got any strenght during level ups, then in 1 stage he had to restart twice, both times near the end of the stage so that was alot of time lost, when he was 20-25 min over his estimate they mercy killed the run when he still had like 4-5 stages left.

I'm just applying the same logic that guy used and I'm glad I don't have any idea what I'm talking about when it comes to pokemon.

it is true that he had bad luck with RNG, but he did play pretty sloppy the entire run. the second time he had to reset in that stage was because he forgot to kill an enemy.

Finally they change the game size, I actually suggested this in the chat early in this run. So happy now :D

If anyone is wondering, bertin could've had PERFECT RNG throughout the entire run, if he actually practiced the RNG route. Even if you mess up after a couple of chapters Seth would already have all required level-ups.
Setting your estimate 2 minutes(!!!!) over WR didnt help either
