I have a question for Rekrul. How popular is hold'em in Korea? I don't know about undergrounds but I always knew koreans favored and mostly played seven card stud. In korean online game websites like hangame and stuff, theres only 7 card stud and some hi-low things. And how good are they on hold'em? Last question, know any korean based online hold'em sites?
its getting pretty big, in 압구정 theres 5 illegal casinos, with two more opening soon i think
the cops used to raid them, but i think they either a. stopped caring or b. are getting paid, probably b.
theres also one in 분당 now too
holdem is getting more and more popular in korea, though (but at a very slow pace i believe) though i was very surprised at how many people know how to play in these places.
no i dont know of any online sites as it would be impossible for koreans to deposit because it's illegal
