how come justin gatlin can run in the olympics and get a silver and bronze when he has tested positive in the past?
if i was lance, i'd get tired too of having to deal with this even after retirement.

Imagine a world where top athletes HAVE to do potentially dangerous performance enhancing drugs just to be considered 'pro's'. You could probably put a SC2 player on Adderall but eventually their brain will turn to fudge.

how many fucking tests do you have to pass under the most INTENSE scrutiny before you're fucking innocent? of course he's tired of fighting bullshit claims by floyd landis (a prick) and tyler hamilton (a double prick). USADA is a joke as is its investigation. before retards say i'm an armstrong lover, my favorite cyclist of all time is Jan Ullrich. If that doesn't mean anything to you, then you have no right to comment on shit

The steroids weren't anabolic and weren't for putting on muscle. The blood transfusions were for living not for increasing the amount of oxygen in his blood before a race. He had to take tests in between races in the tours. This is just some silly little game people are playing cause some great athlete did something borderline difficult.

He's pretty much proven to be guilty. The fact he beat everything that was on drugs is suspicious enough. It doesn't help his case when his era of dominance was basically the era that literally every cyclist was doping. Today, cyclists are literally doing certain legs minutes slower. Doping was extremely widespread in cycling and this is still probably the case. Doping tests, as a whole, are pretty easy to pass on the spot if you know how to do it. Read up on Operación Puerto if you're curious. On August 24 2012 14:19 FliedLice wrote: Show nested quote + On August 24 2012 14:17 Striborg wrote: I don't even get the big deal about doping. Some cyclists have to wake up in the night to peddle around so their cardiovascular system doesn't shut down. Their blood is so thick that they need to do this.

All cycling has to do is basically acknowledge that that era might've been slightly tainted and they're going to do their best in the future to prevent any doping. Move on. Use MLB as an example and get past the issue. Good luck with that. They already made examples of plenty of athletes but they really want Lance as the ultimate scapegoat and this era of doping you speak of. Athletes are always on stuff man. As Chael said you change one molecute and what do you know. Safe zone. It's a wild goose chase. Things that were used back then were arguably legal. Ten years later they make the ban list because it's always evolving. Athletes are always on stuff. Which is exactly why the USADA should do what I said. Admit there was probably shit going on without making direct accusations and simply try to improve for the future. They'll never just allow a free-for-all for drug use so they have to continue in adding to lists and making things known. It's the best you can do at the moment. It's practically impossible to govern as the lists are always obsolete.

The whole era was literally cyclists doping. Operación Puerto was one of the few (only?) operations that brought the police into it and that busted a silly number of cyclists for doping. Including Jan Ullrich.

I'm not discrediting how tiring it could get. Though i don't believe that a person truly innocent would ever just give up like that.

It's practically impossible to govern as the lists are always obsolete. I didn't say it was perfect. Nor did imply it was. They just have to do the best they can. If they want to make more sweeping changes and maybe make a list of things you can take, but anything not on the list is a "can't" maybe it'd work. Point is, they're not going to make everything legal so they just have to accept problems will arise and try to fix it for the future.

How many drugs tests did Marion Jones fail, none. Was she running on drugs for many year and winning, yes.

Jan ullrich admit that he doped in every single tour, AFTER he was proven guilty by all possible German and international courts... You would think armstrong learned from his mistakes...
