I drink at least once a week with a group of friends. Maybe it's because I'm not a teen but I mean... Isn't most of the fun of drinking to just talk and have fun with your friends while you're doing it? It's not just about getting hammered. I mean.. If there was a way (who even knows anymore, maybe people do this...) to just inject the alcohol into your veins would you do it? Anyone who would even consider doing this... ask yourself what are you getting drunk for? Sit down with your friends, grab a beer and have a good time instead.

Thats part of the problem. They don't. Vomiting while drinking happens as your bodies defense against alcohol poisoning, but your body can't do anything when you put alcohol directly in your bloodstream like that.

This isn't anything new, its just messed up, and like manifesto said, an article about it is probably a really bad idea. Nobody I know is stupid enough to do something like this luckily, but there are always people that will.

It's definitely not a new thing, I've heard of people doing this in the 90's. I really don't see the point though, I consider myself having a decent resistance for alcohol and drinking a 1 liter bottle of pure alcohol in 2 hours or so is enough to get yourself messed up enough to not remember the next few hours. And is that even the point? Sometimes it may be fun but I'd say it's a bit too much already.
