It's dominated by the CM side, so whichever people in society who cares about and can afford really expensive suits. The politics threads are generally mild-mannered, a lot of refined shitposting. Once in a while something like this pops up: http://www.styleforum.net/t/341121/secrets-of-the-discourses ; some dude, presumably an academic, spamming random bits of obscure scholarship on Machiavelli's Discourses on Livy. Kinda interesting that suiting as a hobby brings together a unique mix of the intellectual class and high level professionals, and generally aesthetically-minded people. There's also a huge contingent of stereotypically waspy conservatives which is pretty rare on internet forums. The home/car threads are always interesting. Similar to /r/personalfinance (or even financialindependence) in that it's generally people that have a good amount of money, though reddit's a bit less high class But it's cool to see that gathering space. I've been thinking a lot about online communities this past year and why they form, and one of the examples I came up with was groups like us here in this thread who are a subgroup within TL. Anyway, nice random pull Aerisky. Seeing you grow that #personalstyle lols

I’ve collaborated with a bunch of other designers whom we have championed over the years, like Ann Demeulemeester, Boris Bidjan Saberi, Iris van Herpen, and many others on exclusive products. lols remember when he called bbs derivative rick's lines about oversaturation and the amount of noise in the industry are interesting

Interesting that RO likes Vetements and Gosha. Faust is perpetually hilarious, talks about how he started the magazine cuz people tell him he's like, such an incredible writer. Says he wants to be accessible with his forum presence, and, ER: We have to be optimistic. I think the moment we get jaded we might as well shut up shop. When people talk about my writing, they get the impression that I love being critical. LOL
