Like most (all?) clothing, it depends on your body type. Clothes might look too baggy on a skinny guy or hug the "wrong" curves if you're a heavier guy. Here's an example of a polo with the top button unbuttoned (usually preferable over top button being buttoned) that "fits well" on the model; that is, it accentuates the biceps and upper body to reinforce a muscular physique (in other words it hugs the "right" areas): + Show Spoiler + ![]() Obviously, you can find plenty of polos (and other shirts) that make a person look frumpy or anything else unflattering. I've even seen some people tuck in polos and look okay, although I don't personally prefer to do it with my polos. The bottom line is: fitted clothes can make a person look good, and clothes that are too big or too small can make a person look worse, regardless of what article of clothing it is, polo or otherwise. And of course, fashion is 100% subjective and you may hate one style or article of clothing that I might love or vice-versa, and that's what makes these threads and discussions so interesting ![]() Edit: I agree with Danger; tennis polos are awesome too ![]()

Well that's like... your opinion, man ![]() And you're entitled to it ![]() I live in an area that's relatively preppy, where polos are pretty standard slightly-dressed-up-for-a-casual-date-with-a-pair-of-nice-jeans or dress-down-at-work.
