I'm going to order one instead but I really get confused with the measurements. People be sizing up and sizing down everywhere, let alone the bunch of different measurement systems these online stores keep popping out. Anyway, I think I'll go for the 753 slim style. Not sure what colour: Black, Charcoal or Chestnut. Any ideas? 740: http://www.schottnyc.com/products/classic-32-oz-melton-wool.htm DU753: (<---one I want) http://www.schottnyc.com/products/wool-blend-slim-fitted-peacoat.htm?color=1

Recommendations on a budget jacket/pants combo? Right now I have one pair of beige chinos and one navy jacket and that's about it. I think I should add on a charcoal blazer and another pair of chinos but I'm not sure in what color. I think my OCBD game is already pretty decent, white light grey, light blue. Looking to spend maybe $200 only. I live in San Francisco so I have access to pretty much every store ever. JCrew seems to decent choice

As for better quality, I swear by suitsupply now. They have a range of fits going from semi traditional->fashion forward, the materials are excellent, the construction is excellent, the fit is awesome and you cant beat their price for the product you get. I was a huge Ludlow fan, but Suitsupply has stolen my business.

http://imgur.com/i0S13Xw I've been mostly wearing it with casual attire-- some nice jeans/dark gray or beige pants, solid color button-up shirt. Tonight I think I'll just go with a t-shirt though (but I'll be wearing these http://imgur.com/SovW85d, I think it will work since I've also got a leather belt in about the same color.) like so: http://imgur.com/tlzWEun So far I feel pretty great about it, but if you guys have any feedback/ tips then throw it my way ![]()

I'm looking to get something with a plastic and thickish frame, not nerd glasses thick but thick, but would thinner titanium or metal frames be more appropriate for workplace or more proper settings? I went to a local shop and found a pair of kio yamato oxs that were pretty nice. The frames were pretty good value, <$300, but the lenses with everything added comes out to be more. I'm scared to order online cuz there were a lot of styles that looked good but then totally didn't fit when tried on. This is for an asian face. Idk about work appropriate but for ordering online at least warby parker lets you order like 5 sets of trial frames until you find one you like and most of the pairs are like ~100$ if i remember correctly.

buy the frames online and get the lenses fitted at costco or your local optometrist. lenses shouldn't run more than 200 unless you have awful vision and need the higher density versions. to get the right fit, WP sends you a try-on set for free (they keep sending you more until you get the pair you like), but some of the frames sent have been tried on by others so they may have minor wear/tear. you should be able to get a good idea of which frame to choose anyhow. WP isn't anything spectacular but their prices are very competitive. it's a good deal but don't expect the same level of quality you'd feel from a corresponding pair of designer frames. if you ever compare them side to side with a pair from say, Oliver People's or Tom Ford, minor differences are very apparent.
