Internet is not the only thing these people have to work on... something like wall-street stuff it would be great to have a 40 years professional knowledge etc...
idk where im going with this =_=

this is just too depressing.. I'm not sure I can continue to watch. These are the leaders of our country and they literally have NO clue what they are talking about. You always hear satirical comedy shows like colbert or daily show poking fun at congress etc., but the scariest, or most funny depending on how you want to look at it, is just to watch an actual session.
This is a shockingly bad 'debate' 'discussion' whatever.

i like this Sanchez guy... my guess is he is secretly against the bill and he is pretending to pass it to raise more holes for people to dig into xD

I agree, this is embarrassing watching these people who are trying to pass a bill they really have no idea about. They don't know the consequences of this and will never get it. Disgusting debate.

Is the guy behind Mr. Watts Destiny?

I bet no one even understands what Sanchez is talking about in this courthouse..

Seriously, it seems as though most of the people in that building are utterly confused by this. Surely that causes massive red flags that need to be looked at. Are they really going to pass this bill when it seems only a handful of people even understand it thoroughly?

I don't understand any of this, but 23 : 9 against this bill is good from what I do know.

An amendment that would exempt a University from blocking foreign infringing websites at the DOJ's request, mirroring the immunity DNS hosts such as GoDaddy currently have under the bill.

There are 535 members of Congress. These votes are for amendments.

This was against the Polis proposal. It was something about exempting colleges from this SOPA crap.
So no, 23 to 9 is bad.

You're misunderstanding it. Those were votes to a change of the bill to make it more fair. The people who voted no to that change are more likely those who want this bill as a whole to pass. those who voted yes for the change are the few who don't like the bill as a whole.
In general it looks like the bill will get passed because there isn't enough people against it.

Yeah, it was just a small change in the bill, not the bill entirely. 1 Step at a time.!
