It´s because if you read the threads first few pages they are all "Man this is so wrong, I´ve got me some fine ass gf and I´m still amazing at games, fuck this shit!". Gets pretty old pretty fast.

I can live with bloodthirsty killing-machine. I could repeat it to myself to psych up every time I'm laddering.
I had a girl that was from Germany and she told me that gamers are regarded as the lowest of the low. The moment she learned I played SC2 she freaked out and with a good reason. We broke up the next day. Anyway people will be prejudiced against you, no matter what you do. Whether it would be music, religion or even sports, you will be looked at differently by the common herd and only those who are ashamed of who they are, are going to be offended by such reports.
