Where to begin...Italy
-Best known as "pizza mandolino mafia mamma berlusconi" which is quite BAD because is quite REAL, imo. -Politician class sucks totally. You know they're all thieves, they change the laws to steal more, and...nothing you can do. -Bureaucracy, totally a failing system (fun fact for italy I'm dead since 31/10/09...oh yeah.) -School system totally fails. It's a derivative of bureaucracy+politics but still, most people are ignorant or either is a pure nightmare. I dare you study in any university and find a professor, or have the materials to study, or whatever. It's just a big failure.Infact most people have a degree but they don't fucking know anything about what they studied because in italy the studying method is probably based on corruption. If they legitimately study they just memorize everything but they don't understand what they do. -Technologically surpassed by basically any other country in the world. Most of the population doesn't care for technology if they got a TV. -Tv is shit.Boobs, reality show, people insulting eachother, corrupted government sources of information: they just tell what they want you to know. Most of the people ignore the real world they just have their tv and they're really dumb. -People are really dumb especially the younger generations, we have special names to identify them, tanslated it would go babydicks or something like that. You know uneducated bioys and girls ranging from 14-30 which are just a pain to see and hear. They could be classified as the 1337 noob wannabe lamer posers of the internet. If that makes sense. -No one really knows english, and in online communities we give our worst. We totally isolate and refuse to join people from the rest of the world. You speak english? GOTTA INSULT YOU BECAUSE I DON'T UNDERSTAND YOU AND I HAVEN'T BOTHERED TO STUDY ENGLISH. -Mindset of 1300, thanks to the church (stato del vaticano we all love you...NOT.) and because there's a strong hate for "new things" even when they're clearly good.Internet computers are kinda nightmares of the italians, because they already got the awesome tv!
You know I could go on for hours, just describing where I live...(L'Aquila if you're wondering, and yes the situation is really bad.But guess what?Italy!)
I really hate my country, I live here just because I know few select people and I like the landscape.

Canada *Car insurance is high *Nobody gives a shit about our own politics, everyone follows American politics more then Canada's(me included) *Way too high alchohol prices *Testie, just kidding *Not only do we have corrupt politicians, they are also dumb *Traffic, I thought Brampton was bad, then i saw Toronto, then i saw Montreal. *Fucking road repairs. Some Corrupt politician made some shitty, corrupt deal with some road repair company. Now we have some dumb fucking contract that lasts a long time and costs a lot of money and traffic problems. They build shitty roads that wither away and die quickly only to be replaced with fresh new roads from the same company. *Most of our exports are to the states. And our biggest industry/export is cars and car parts, to the states. They have a huge influence on out economy. *Complicated taxing system
Poland *Fgt's like this

Our governments sport section wanted to get rid of all these bastards but fgt Platini stepped in and told us he'll kick us out of Euro if the government does anything. We've had 2 games in the last year where the fans have embargoed the game and no one showed up. Still wasn't enough to change anything. *Our global image *I immigrated too Canada when i was 3. I do know young people willing to vote for independance. People pro-canada in Quebec who have their citizenship are more rare then the pro-independance ones. I'm pretty sure OLD people are more pro-canada then young people.
And also if the question "Do you want independance" would be asked in a survey, I'm pretty sure the answer would be like YES 25%, NO like 10% and I'm scared of it/I don't know 65%.
Most Quebecers don't feel like belonging to Canada. In class we once asked (after a debate on the subject) 10 people if they'd like Quebec to be independant, like 2 people did agree, while no one agreed to stay forever in Canada. For the rest of them it was either the fear of unknown or some doubt about current Quebec's state. I did ask people around me to validate that theory and this seems pretty correct.
Canada's day isn't celebrated. We've our own [drunkard] party. Hundreds of thousand of people celebrate it. Much bigger then any solo Canada's day (not if you add all of them).
Also to you "fellow" canadians if you think we would be poor then you should be willing to let Quebec goes away, that way you'd be richer, lol.
Being independant doesn't mean communist... trade market would still exist between Qc/Ca. Free trade would probably be (and respected compared to US/CA one).
Personally I do not hate Canada nor Quebec, but I don't feel french is respected (and I hate Harper). So the only way to protect our language correctly would be independance (since federal are too g* to give us anything).

What are the worst things about my country? There are a few but the people who live Sweden are the worst! Most of the swedish population choose to bury thier heads in the sand and listen to propganda from the media, bunch of fucking sheep who cant be botherd to find out whats really going on for themselfs. Then theres the swedish-english accent that just makes me want to cut my ears of. I also dislike the school system that refuses to reform and only gets worse and worse every year. Then theres the political leaders who act like a bunch of children, they also like to bury thier heads in the sand and go "lalalalala" problems go away if I ignore them. I might aswell move to denmark.

Personally I do not hate Canada nor Quebec, but I don't feel french is respected (and I hate Harper). So the only way to protect our language correctly would be independance (since federal are too g* to give us anything). Protect your language ? What has it brought you so far, apart from isolation and making games/movies sales much more complicated ? I don't get why Quebec tries so hard. Speaking french in Canada brings you nothing but problems, and that would be true for most local languages (except spanish ones I guess).
corrupted government sources of information: they just tell what they want you to know. That's what you get when your president owns most of the public television channels.

GOTTA INSULT YOU BECAUSE I DON'T UNDERSTAND YOU AND I HAVEN'T BOTHERED TO STUDY ENGLISH. And that is where I feel we have the same problem. I'm not sure what makes french, italians, portuguese and other europeans suck so much at english. I guess it's because the TV programs are traduced in these countries ?

Thanks for clarifying this. I can admit I was one of the people who thought the general consensus was that Quebec wanted to separate (still).
If what you say is accurate, I am happy to admit that I am wrong.
Your post made my day

So Denmark. Some danes are insanely racist. I don't think that's neccessarily different from any country though. Got to have some extremists and racists so that everyone else can seem normal I suppose.
We still cling to the Danish Crown when it would just be much easier to discard it and get Euro's.
Marihuana and so on is not legal, and I think that making it legal would mean that there would not be this illegal underground business where men who kill other people get rich.

I love how you put "fellow" Canadians in quotations implying we have an actual problem between us. That is such an uneducated opinion you hold, it's amazing. Do you really think it will ever happen? You say the trade market will still exist, free trade, etc... but that will only create more problems for both parties, more things to think about and have sanctions on. You have the wrong mindset about this, as does most of the population. That's what the leaders want you to be thinking/doing. Fighting with each other over everything, religion, race, language...etc. Who gives a fuck? We should be looking to better our country with a shard effort towards betterment.
You say you don't hate Canada, yet here you are saying French is not respected???? What is that even supposed to mean? IT'S OUR SECOND OFFICIAL LANGUAGE. What more do you want? It's taught in school's, on menu's, buildings, government documentations.... everything. The only way to protect your language is independence? Come on man, seriously? "YOUR" language is not under attack, we are not voting to get rid of it, we are not in an uproar about it, nothing is being done to get rid of it. Do you see English speaking Canadians banning all french in places of business or not even trying to respond to someone trying to order something while speaking French? NO, you don't. Do you see that in Quebec? YES, you do. So maybe if you don't want problems in this area, don't create them?
Seriously, it's such a joke. Anglo-Canadians do not think about getting rid of French, or any ill-will towards it as a general consensus. What we do have a problem with is hearing people say they want to change and separate our amazing country just to save a language that is not being attacked.

Quebec, Canada :
When SC2 came out, stores had to sell french versions (EU) along with english versions(US).
So alot of people didn't knew about the servers segregation and bought EU version. Stores doesn't want to take them back (obviously) so alot of people who know each other IRL cannot play with each others. I think you can mail blizzard support for a server change but most ppl won't do that. This made me so angry when I learned that.
Not even gonna talk about latency here, were in fucking NA why would we play on EU servers WTF!!!

I second that. I've travelled in western Canada when I was 18 (lived 6 month in Banff, AB) and it was really mind opening. There is alot of french community around Canada. Streets sign on the highway are in 2 languages, people generally have nothing against french ppl themselves.
It's the same on both sides, there's french ppl who hates english ppl (which is pretty stupid and close-minded) and there is english ppl who hates frenchys but theses guy are the same close-minded cowboys.
In conclusion, 1. There will always be stupid ppl, wherever you'll be on earth. 2. Quebec doesn't want to separate from Canada.

What do I dislike with living in Sweden? That everyone seems to regard their Western opinions as The Truth (TM) and that the world should adapt to us (which it unfortunately does to a large extent). This goes for all of the Western countries!
