Because of 9/11 and the wars in the middle east Americans have found excuses to hate muslims and to hate each other. Meanwhile the government has steadily removed basic rights from its citizens to be better equipped for fighting off future terrorist attacks. In short, I can't help but think that Al-Queda got exactly what they wanted from 9/11. Their actions exposed the fragility of the USA's social and political systems, and now the country is tearing itself apart. We have allowed the attack at ground zero to become one of the most cost efficient attacks in the history of man-kind. Now that is embarrassing. | ||

I agree with you in the thought that many Korean parents are too harsh with academics. Koreans (well asians in general, I suppose) have the stereotype of being good at math but not good at English, which annoys me since it's the opposite for me :D Koreans smoke and drink a LOT. They hack and cough out their spit on the ground. Gross.. Koreans are arrogant Korean guys are hot as hell but assholes :D Note: I'm not speaking of 'ALL' Koreans of course. They are just a few recurring traits that I've seen :p These are my, and others', observations of the Koreans that live around me (Los Angeles). | ||
