I have amnesia to the event, I don't remember exactly how it all happened.
Luckily there were no other cars involves, and I was driving alone.
All I remember right now is walking out to my jeep. My mom was there cleaning it out for me. She saw me and smiled. There was a dog jumping around her because he smelled some old fast food bag. It was sunday. I was heading off to work.
My memory skips from there. Next thing I know I'm in the jeep, it's a ways off the road between my home and my work, upside-down and crushed in from every angle, in the middle of a bunch of thorn bushes, and I'm trapped inside of it with no idea why I'm there. Everything's cold and damp. I have no idea how long I was in there before I regained conciousness, but I pulled myself out and started calling for help.
Some people came, asked me if I was ok. I forget what I said in response. The ambulance came a short while later, drove me to the hospital while they gave me oxygen, cut all my clothes off and started searching my body for possible injuries.
I'm fine. The worst thing they found was a very deep lasceration one millimeter to the left of my right eye. They think it was from a shard of glass after the windshield shattered. It was as deep as it could possibly be without breaking bone. The skin was completely separated, they had to do 2 layers of 16 stitches to seal it.
The airbags didn't deploy and I wasn't wearing my seatbelt. There was an imprint of the steering wheel in my chest. It was a blunt object, and yet it hit with enough force to break skin and make me bleed. The doctors said it's a miracle my ribcage didn't shatter, and even more of a miracle that I didn't die.
Thought you guys would get a kick out of this atleast. Pictures of the jeep post-trauma will be up in two days. I haven't even seen them yet, so that should be interesting.

Well, that very unfourtante. Im glad your OK though
Too bad you werent waring your seatbelt. You might be feeling a little bit better, plus you might have been able to collect due to the air bags not being deployed =/
I'm assuming you were going fast enough to where they should have deployed. Oh well, at least your safe!

You have a cool story to tell for the rest of your life.

Too bad you didn't have the belt on, but then again, your injuries could be worse with it. You could have had the belt cut really deep into your chest, and stomach.
