+ Show Spoiler + ![]() Two bonobos doing it face to face, and it looks like they are enjoying it. Just goes to show you the origins of our own crazy sexual adventures. Forgive me if this seems insulting to the other pictures of dying people, etc. I am a primatology major so it never ceases to amaze me how much we are like our closest relatives. I do believe this picture says 1000 words about humanity and our origins. To say sexual pleasure is a human sin is just plain wrong.

Seems like a pleasant way to spend the afternoon in contrast to the normal, hum drum life of a Mexican soldier; being shot at and blown up by drug cartels. Nice to just enjoy a massive fucking high lol.

Of course, when biased goverment scientists tried to prove that Marijuana killed on overdose, they put monkeys with gas masks connected to big vaporizers (not the healthy ones) and pumped weed smoke into their lungs like 12 hours per day, they were burning so much weed in their incinerator it was the equivalent of each monkey smoking 620 joints per day! They died after 6 months of being exposed on that frequency and intensity of brain asphixiation.

I looked at that story a bit and it was a study from over 50 years ago. Other things we did in the 60s: Purposefully inject African Americans with syphilis to study the effects. Nuclear arms race. Forced sterilization of undesirable parts of society with or without consent/prior knowledge. Well, that's a few things for the US. I could do a few more countries but I think I'm wandering off point. Half a century ago Erich Fromm wrote: [...]There is no rationality or sense in it. But the fact is that, while we are living technically in the Atomic Age, the majority of men--including most of those who are in power--still live emotionally in the Stone Age; that while our mathematics, astronomy, and the natural sciences are of the twentieth century, most of our ideas about politics, the state, and society lag far behind the age of science.[...] The hypothesis behind those tests were faulty and they were accepted because they validated prior government policy. Agreed. But neither do they still stand up here or are they still in use to dictate national drug policy. However marijuana does contain carcinogens that will cause cancer. It is fine to profess moderate usage of THC and ingestion of marijuana but it still poses an health risk related to diseases from smoke inhalation. When police and soldiers burn marijuana fields they do not wear gas masks only to remain sober- it's for the same reason a firefighter would not run through burning buildings without a mask or industrial usage of masks when dealing with caustic smoke. I know you mean well and only wish to champion the change in the ludicrous drug laws of some cultures but using an urban legend as a anecdote is a poor way of going about it. For reading all that- here's a picture of something that I find fascinating. ![]()
