It's something that will always stay with me. I was there at the time and it an amazing experience. Even as a Brit living in British occupied Germany it was a momentous experience. Different bacteria live in the different temperatures of the water. The outer of the geyser is red/yellow meaning the water is cooler and the bacteria there can't live in the hotter water where the blue/green bacteria are.
