(1) ET's parents came back and stole the passenger jet to hold the airline passengers hostage in retaliation for those little bratty kids kidnapping and holding ET hostage? (2) The Wraith found Earth! (Stargate Atlantis). (3) Wharehouse 13 lost another artifact. (4) Eureka's Global Dynamics prototype of a Missile Defense System was stolen by Oceans 20 and was used to intercept the passenger jet to extort a ransom for the return of the prototype and the passenger jet with the passengers. (5) The passenger jet lands in the docking bay of Starship Destiny (Stargate Universe) for a slow return to Earth.

The dissappearance of the passenger jet raises the possibility for crossover episodes with other TV shows or movies like CSI met Without a Trace; Wharehouse 13 met Eureka; Star Trek Next Generation met Deep Space Nine; well you get the idea. My theory on THE EVƎNT. In mathematics and predicate logic "∃" is the predication of a property or relation to at least one member of the domain (the President or the Earth?). "∃" (pronounced " "there exists" or "for some") called the existential quantifier. Existential quantification is distinct from universal quantification ("for all"), which asserts that the property or relation holds for any members of the domain. Suppose the "domain" is Earth, "E". 1 planet in 1 galaxy out of an infinite number of galaxies. Suppose the Earth is in imminent danger of annihilation by a planetary asteroid or by other means. Remember? That woman said "They saved us!" I suspect that "∃" means survival for some people but not everyone on planet Earth (a take on the movie 2012?). Could this be another version of all life ending on Earth 2012 style but some people on Earth, but not all, are or will be saved by space aliens and the human race will be resettled on another planet in another galaxy far, far away. As the theory goes it was aliens from space that influenced the Aztecs, the Egyptians, and other races throughout time on Earth. After a series of space alien movies hostile to the human race it is about time for a space alien show to be friendly to the human race. I think THE EVƎNT will be that show. ![]()

Pilot was very uneventful and I think they should've just let it all happen and do the background story in the middle of the season like Lost... but they'd be criticized for copying Lost's storytelling technique, but it would've been a lot more enjoyable if anything actually happened in that episode. I think the point was to set it up as a 24-ish type government/reality based thriller and then at the end come out with the 'supernatural' surprise

The worst part by far though is the fact that there were at least 6 commercial breaks. I will admit that I am a little curious to see what happens, but I will probably just read spoilers from this thread.

in short run, this show is no good but it has a huge potential long run when more pieces of the story is available... the time interval is 66 years so there is no way the story could be told in less than 10 eps... i will watch 10 eps and decided to drop it or not

![]() STOP THOSE DAMN FLASH BACKS! I WANT CONTINUITY! I'M MAD AS HELL ABOUT THOSE FLASHBACKS AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANY MORE! STICK YOUR HEAD OUT YOUR WINDOW AND YELL I HATE THOSE FLASHBACKS AND I AIN'T GONNA TAKE IT ANYMORE! ![]() What is it with those two egotistical FBI Agents in the Arizona desert with their suspect-hero telling his story as they turnaround at that roadblock to take that detour? Where is Fox Mulder and Scully? They wouldn't let a one-car roadblock stop them! X-Files can save this show like they did with their cross-over episode with COPS (if only X-Files was still running). I suppose the two FBI agents with their prisoner will pull off the road out of site of that roadblock to go take a look in the next episode. If they don't do that and continue on to the detour then the screenwriters and producers ought to be fired for such trash. "Whatcha gonna do when they come for you? Not the cops! Not the FBI! Those murderin' aliens! Oh! Jesus! It's the third remake of "V". "Can't we just get along?" INSERT infinite list of cliches here: ___ In real world news comes this "coincidental?" news from New Zealand, October 1, 2010 (and all over the world if you search Google News) "Earlier this week, the Sunday Times in Britain ran a report on the Malaysian astrophysicist, [Mazlan Othman], who is the head of the United Nations' Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA). The publication claimed she would be officially announced as the UN's ambassador to visiting little green men, at next week's meeting of the Royal Society in Buckinghamshire." "However, the agency, a little-known branch of the United Nations General Assembly, based in Vienna, Austria, termed the report "nonsense", and Prof Othman herself has dispelled the myth. "It sounds really cool, but I have to deny it," she told The Star newspaper in Malaysia." Sarcastically from a global sociological point of view are we being prepared for a future hostile space alien invasion using TV science fiction shows to get us prepared like the U.S. military uses combat simulation video games that trickle down to our teenagers to get them ready for military service? Or is this just reality taking ideas from science fiction for a possible future? Or is it possible that I am getting lost in all this mixing of reality and science fiction? I need a reality break.

I'm getting the feeling that this is like a 24 / The 4400 hybrid, meaning that the other people are people from the future and are not aliens.
