You know, in the beginning when he's inside the tower climbing ladders I just went "eh, that's not so bad", but then when he goes on the outside I changed my mind. Good thing they have on safety helmets, that should come in handy.

Being up there would be my own personal hell. I just can't imagine being so confident that your hand won't slip or a gust of wind won't come that you'd stake your life on it. These freeclimbers must have some sort of essential fear trigger missing from their brains.

I thought to myself "ok, here is where he's going to clip on and safely do his work" five or six times before they finally got to the top. I've got a cold sweat going just from watching that, I hope they get paid really well.

i would at least expect them to have some kind of guard around any climbing spot like you usually see in those sorts of towers (just a metal fence thing that goes around the ladders, so you could fall back against it if you ever lost your grip. still pretty scary, but not quite as ridiculous).

I would do it if I didn't have to haul a 30lb bag, that makes it more work, and a lot more dangerous. There's definitely more dangerous jobs than this though, for instance high-rise construction workers or professional american football/boxing players.
