That's not the point. If her sine is pi/2, then sin(x)=pi/2. She is x. The sine of x is pi/2. x is most certainly not one. It would be correct if the boy was asking "what is your inverse sine?". The inverse sine of 1 is indeed pi/2. For the record sin(x)=pi/2 gives no solution as pi/2 > 1. Don't we all know that Sin(x) is bounded above by 1 and below by -1?
