Although the screenshots show that there is no grey bar at the bottom of the Firefox 4, it's still there, must be something with my software for taking screenshots, probably removes it somehow. Not sure. ![]() Quality of the screen is not that great, but it's just for a quick comparison. I think I'll stick with 3.6 until most of my add ons are adjusted for 4.0 Here's some better looking screens: 1. Firefox 4 in slim look http://i48.tinypic.com/jgjc7n.jpg 2. Firefox 4 with Menu Bar and Bookmark Toolbar http://i49.tinypic.com/11kuvxl.jpg 3. Firefox 4 with tabs below http://i48.tinypic.com/2vvsy0p.jpg

Firefox has so many add-ons that i couldnt live without that ive never even tried Chrome on the basis that there was no way in my mind that Chrome would have the specific add-ons//scripts that i want. just how exhaustive is Chrome's add-ons//features list? I guess that you also prefer Total Annihilation over Starcraft?? The thing is, chrome is so much faster and so much less obstructing that when you have used it for a little while going back to FF feels like taking a walk with an elephant on your back. It is good that FF understood that the chrome way is the only way just like opera already had so they are now releasing their own version of the ultra fast, ultra slick browsers. Personally there were a few things I didn't like with chrome but I just couldn't get myself to use any other browser till opera released their latest, and now I might even switch to the new FF since it is made with the same concepts as chrome. Edit: seems like they didn't slim it down, hope that it is at least as fast...

i use some Greasemonkey Script called "lookitup" and some add-ons like "firebug" and "down-them-all" etc... and i wouldnt even consider leaving Firefox if these perks are not available on those other browsers.

Most of FF's most popular add-ons have been remade for Chrome, I believe. On July 08 2010 00:37 Odoakar wrote: I don't know why, but I just can't adjust to the new Firefox. I think it's because the Bookmarks tab is a bit larger in height. Not sure really. Still can't figure if I like tabs to be on top or below. I made this comparison for Croatian Tribal Wars forum, but might as well put it here. It seems they have huge teams dedicated to improving the browser and fighting to keep theirs above the competition. Probably like most internet websites do, advertising income.

I don't want add ons, most of the time. That's why I use chrome, among other reasons.

basically you highlight (doubleclick) a word anywhere on a webpage, and you press a set of letters to get a popup about the word; w- wikipedia i- google images f- freedictionary definition you got many other letters too... the cool thing is you get a popup which can go aways if you click anywhere . so its not annoying like having to actually change pages. , i also use firebug to capture flash videos...many tabs stuff, downthemall (click a button, and download all images or videos etc...on a webpage).. many bookmarks stuff...forecastfox (weather) ..and the skins are cool looking. for Porn lovers like me looking to save time, i got my Empornium Greasemonkey script so that when i get on the page, the script modifies the site such that i get video thumbnails for EVERY video in the search results page itself so you dont have to click on each to get a little preview. i dont think you can do all this stuff on Chrome.
