Actress Kim Ga Yeon has been revealed to be dating Starcraft progamer Lim Yo Hwan (SlayerS_`BoxeR`) through the later’s fansite. According to the couple, they have been in a secret relationship for over two years!
Immediately after the revelation, netizens labeled the couple as Korea’s Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher due to the fact that Kim Ga Yeon is eight years older than him and already has a 16 year old daughter.
Although they kept the relationship quiet for two years, they decided that they would like to date publicly.
An acquaintance of Kim Ga Yeon revealed, “She knows a lot about games and she supports him a lot. He was really touched by her support. Although his (Boxer’s) schedule is hectic with his team, I think that they’re going to get married this fall.”
Kim Ga Yeon last acted in SBS historical drama Ja Myung Go while Boxer is an active player for SK Telecom T1 in the Starcraft proleagues.

Such an old information though it's publicly announced now. Married in fall, 8 years difference and 16 years old daughter? the hell?
Another interesting fact is that I didn't know she was in the Korean drama "Ja Myung Go" until it was mentioned here. And I watched the ENTIRE SERIES!!! Now I feel sad.... though she wasn't that much of a major character... (just the prince's aunt who only comes up once in a while...)

I'm pretty sure it's to do with the fact that ideal child birthing age is about 18 and it becomes more and more risky as you get older, I'm pretty sure it's worse if they've never had a kid either.
And usually, the older man part comes from older --> more money -->more success --> more women!! + better able to support a family, so you'd naturally come across as more attractive I guess.
