Morning, for the obvious reasons everyone has already said: you feel like crap the whole day if you don't. And regarding the concern of going to sleep messy, you interact with people during the day, not while you're sleeping.

I prefer taking a shower both right after I wake up and right before I go to bed. I can skip the shower before going to bed but I absolutely cannot do anything at all until I've showered in the morning.

If you think you don't sweat or smell after sleeping for 8 hours, you're wrong. You may not sweat as much as during rigorous activity, but you still sweat and excrete oils.

Please stay away from the rest of us clean people during the day ^_^

night time! helps me go to sleep afterwards. the only downside is sometimes I'll wake up in the morning and my hair will be sticking up because my hair finished completely drying in a weird position or something :<

edit: that is about 75% of the time. If I just got off work after a morning shift or something I'll shower again for example. basically shower at night daily, and also whenever else I think I could use it.

I only take a shower at night if I've been playing sports or something and I'm really disgustingly dirty.

Otherwise, shower in the morning is a nice wake-up and stuff.

If you shower @ night, you are dirty all day long at school/work. Yes you get dirty while sleeping, you sweat, and shed skin cells during the night. If you don't shower in the morning, you go to school/work with 8+ hours of dead skin on your body

not cool. Not to mention your hair has 8+ hours of grease buildup. Fucking nasty, and people actually go out in public like that?

If you shower @ morning, you are dirty when you sleep.

Which is better, being dirty in your own bed while you sleep, or being dirty out in public for the entire day? Not much of a choice there, shower in the morning ftw

Also, I get bed-head, so going to work looking like a mess is no thx

I cbf to shower more than once a day unless I really need a second one (work out or something). Hate having to do laundry that much more often, too.

I exercise 5 - 6 times a week, so I usually just have my shower then. That would be afternoon then, I suppose.

I will share with you an ancient asian secret. Of course we wipe clean. BUUUTTT, we like to go the extra mile. After we wipe we grab a small container of water in one hand, we put soap in the other, and then we pour water down and rub at the same time cleaning our sphincters in that fashion. Rinse and repeat. For me, I like to go even further than that and take a shower right afterwards.

@morning: i sweat a lot during the night so if i don't i stink all the day

note that i define "morning" as the moment i finish my mug of coffee. It can be at 18-19pm on lazy days (then i go to sleep at 4-5am).

Almost always before going to bed.

If I had the willpower/motivation/time/whatever, I'd do it both in the morning and evening.

BUT
I can't imagine spending a whole day doing stuff, and then going to bed without shower, that's fucking gross.
