I don't subscribe to the culture of over cleanliness, there is a difference between 'clean' skin and healthy skin. If you over clean, you destroy the natural balance of the skin and leave it worse off. I totally understand if somebody wants to shower every day after working out or if their job is centred around a lot physical labour though.

I never could wrap my head around the fact that most people showered in the morning when I first heard about it from friends and other people. When I thought about this, it made sense to me that it might be a racial thing, since all my white friends would shower in the mornings, and all my Chinese friends showered at night. My family and friends are all from Hong Kong, where it's humid as hell, and it would just feel nasty to not shower at night before we go to bed. So I guess that showering habit was passed down from our parents to us, but in a region of the world where it's unlikely that you'll be sweating a crapload during the day from just doing regular activities. Holy crap, you're totally right. Mind is blown.

Woot for just needing to pass my class now!
