People that lack a basic understanding of common knowledge.
I guess its not important to know common knowledge, but when it talk to someone about my skitrip a couple of weeks ago in the french alps and then they go: "oh, i had no idea the alps where in france." I just cant fathom how they dont know something like that.
I guess im just an ass. Lol.

So is spelling now the definitive way of measuring intelligence? I didn't realize that. I guess i should give up on my Maths degree then at one of the top universities in England, because hey if i can't spell, my arguments are automatically invalid and i must be drastically below the average intelligence in every way.
I think its the irony. Get over it.

I think its the irony. Get over it. Yeah i guess, I've calmed down a bit now, but i was just a bit pissed that they seemed to be attacking the intellectual side of it, when spelling isn't really related to intelligence. Yes i look like a moron i realize that Yes i should have spell checked it if i know i have trouble spelling, but when you have dyslexia and you literally have to spell check everything you write in your life, sometimes you cba and can get away with it, obviously i didn't this time. It's the lack of irony that pisses me off, because it isn't ironic, if they responded just by taking the piss out of my spelling i would have apologize and said yes i looked like a dick and have egg on my face, but they didn't, they tried to link it to intelligence which is just retardedly ignorant. Anyways sorry for shitting on this post with nerd rage, ill try and continue it a bit more:
Futher things that annoy me: - Checking my B.net account after they say a new wave has gone out, and still seeing no invite. - When i don't get lurkers out fast enough in tvz after 3 hatch muta, and my exp. gets raped. - When your strings break on your guitar - When you do a full clean install of windows 7 and msn doesn't work, and you find out you have to disable the auto tuning of the TCP stack, how the fuck would a non nerd know to do that? - When you click on one of the sc2 streams and it's a sc1 stream! - When the weekly/monthly password cookie/sessions run out on facebook/email and you have to type them in again.

a thing that annoys my everday life ---> work...

When a program does not have a loading/working indicator so that when you click something and the program happens to be lagging (due to latency or shitty computer) and you're not sure whether you clicked it so you end up clicking it twice or more, then it all loads at once and fucks everything up.
Mobs in public transit during rush hour Jesus christ people you won't die if you wait for the next train; don't f'ing push me into a guy who smells like shit because he smokes, make me lose my footing and start coughing. I have even walked out of the subway car telling the pusher to fuck off and respect other people more. And he had the nerve to give me a stare, LOL
Inconsiderate smokers kind of annoy me (actually I have a few smoker friends but they're considerate about it, which is absolutely fine by me), especially when they have the audacity to smoke near a building exit/entrance. Hint, there's a reason why smoking is forbidden in this building; it's because the right to breathe supercedes your right to smoke. I don't really mind anymore though, I have gotten used to holding my breath every time I walk past a smoker. Unfortunately, as a result, if I'm caught unawares or just have to breathe in (say while running past a pack of smokers), I get a coughing fit. Thanks for poisoning me, asshole. Weed's cool though.
Lately, overly religious people have been getting on my nerves. And they get upset when I tell them if god really exists he must be one hell of a douche, lol. Even though it's a painfully obvious conclusion if you just look at all the shit happening in the world to good people.
People who put words in your mouth and use that as the basis for their (otherwise terrible) argument. And who won't shut up when you try to point it out. >.<
The fact that I can't buy envy 15 g2 laptop in canada and HP is being a douche about shipping to a cdn address so my only option is to get my friend in seattle to buy it for me and then ship it back across the country, again. T_T

Actually all of that is nothing and doesn't really bother me longer than it takes me to roll my eyes. What really bothers me is Hot_Bid. He knows why.

I knew there was something I wanted to post here, but I couldent remember it until last night. I FUCKING HATE when i can hear something that other people around me can't. All the times I say, "do you hear that annoying high pitched noise?".... and the "no" response makes me want to fucking take an axe to a china shop.
I guess I have really good hearing or something because this happens quite often. I can usually hear if a TV is on outside my apartment(without hearing the volume of the tv show) there is a high pitched frequecy it makes. Along with my router, which also has a very low high pitched freq. Anyway it tilts me to no end when I cant figure out what the noise is and I get no help from anyone because they can't hear it. Anyone else have this?

I also hear the high tone from the television (although it is only older ones that have picture tubes, LCD doesn't make it). It drives me nuts.

People that laugh at not funny things in movies, and people that repeate funny things from movies. PLEASE STOP SAYING VERY NICE!

You choose your own reaction to things. Instead of getting pissed off choose to be happy instead. And really, if there were no inconveniences in life then life would be dull and boring.
This thread just promotes rage (unless people post funny things).

Your unconscious response is, well, unconscious. But your reaction is a conscious decision. You may feel anger for a split second, but then choose to respond by laughing or not caring and diluting the negative emotion within you. Just force your logical brain to take over and swat away the anger. In other words, chill.

I think everyone here has more than enough anecdotal evidence to know that emotion can overwhelm any ideal rational behavior.

Not really. It's just that when there aren't enough negative consequences to our actions, we chose to indulge our emotions. If someone was gonna die if you nerd raged over losing to a 4 pool, you'd probably chose differently, but if it was a normal situation you'd think that you were just overcome by your emotion. We have a little more control that we think, we just don't really care enough to act differently.

My point was we often can't reason away things like anger, jealousy or fear, no matter how irrational those feelings may seem in hindsight or from the 3rd person.

People not having the ability to flush the toilet after dribbling over the place. It's rly hard. D:

People who greet you with some random hand gesture thing, like taking your hand in a handshake position and then moving it into a vertical hand grip, pulling away and bumping fists or some shit. Its just stupid and its annoying to try and work out what the hell they want you to be doing with your hands. A handshake is fine.

Vegetarians are not vegans. Yah. But they should be. Their position makes no sense. Actually... it does? Vegetarianism doesn't always have to be from a purely moral standpoint. From a nutritional view, vegetarianism is potentially much healthier (In general, compared to the way most people eat). The cliche problem that comes up is protein. With eggs being a near perfect balance of proteins you must get from food, why not eat them?
From a moral standpoint, it is still arguable. Cheese is a product of an animal. So you would have to add milk and wool sweaters to that list as well. Vegetarians don't necessarily have to go all out, they could simply believe in not eating animals themselves. The eggs most people eat (generally) aren't even fertilized.
Now, here's the punch line. Saying vegetarians can't eat chicken eggs en route to retail is the same thing as saying vegetarian women can't menstruate (to an extent). Something doesn't make sense there, I think.

Do people sort of find hugging weird, odd and annoying?
It's such a weird social convention. Hey I'm so happy to see you I'm gonna hold you very close to me and give you a little squeeeeze. It's so common between young people too. Like I'll meet people for the first time ever and they will give me a hug (mostly girls do this) which is kind of silly imo. I just met you, I don't wanna rub up against you.
