we went to the mall.... then ate lots and lots of ice cream in the park.... shared a romantic dinner at her fave restaurant... then watched some fireworks competition... went home and then sex all night..

Yeah as I read thru this thread I see this V day wasn't anything special for many of TL guys and that kinda makes me feel better. I would also describe my V day with my gf but I think that would be much more FML post oriented so I'll skip it.

Went to "The Valentines Day" movie, gotta say, it wasn't bad. Kinda good actually. Nice acting, kinda funny and it had a good story imo.. not too shabby.
Came home and made pancakes with bananas in them (amazing). Called it a day 
had Louder update me on Nony v IdrA, now eagerly awaiting vods. GOOD DAY!

woke up from night of drinking and smoking. laundry, ironed shirts, sweeped the floor, studied a bit, cooked food (grilled chicken breasts and home made pizza), skyped with a girl, then played some poker with friends listening to music. a pretty chill hangover recovery day.

V-Day is bullshit and the origin has been completely lost. That said, it is an excuse for assholes to charge us way too much for roses one day of the year and boost the economy and consumer spending.
Having said that, my girl declared that she wanted nothing for valentine's day (obviously a trick), so I got her a card and put a handwritten note about how I felt on it and gave it to her over brunch. Don't get flowers and chocolate; it's so predictable. Gifts from the heart always win. Any schmuck can buy a bunch of stuff and give it to a girl but it doesn't make her feel special.

I went to the store to buy this really cute pillow she said she wanted a couple months ago, but they didn't have it.  I took her shopping instead and got her some shorts for summer, so I suppose it turned out ok.
I've gone 11+ months without giving flowers though, kekeke. Function gifts only!

Valentine's Day is also my birthday, and I'm single. So what did I do? I got stoned with brother and sister all day, while we played we Wii Golf for money. Later on we watched part of the All-Star Game (boring), so we ended up finding the deep sea episode of Planet Earth was on. The shit's amazing in HD.
Interestingly, two of my ex-girlfriends sent me happy birthday texts...

My gf was learning for exams so i will not see her for 4 more days. alone on valentines day. The good part is now i have the money to buy her something, a few days ago i had nothing.
So my valentines was:
- TSL
- Practice with the band
- Sleeping and eating
