This is not a jersey. This is a portal through which men pass. This is not material. This is fabric that binds us together. This is not a souvenir. This is a reminder of all who have worn it before us. This is not black. This is the absence of fear. This is not a uniform. This is a country unified. This is not a jersey only 22 men wear. This is a jersey fitted for four million people. This is victory and loss, but will not be defeated. This is everything but a Jersey.
I mostly got candy, baked goods, sausage and other consumable shit. I got a few other things that were pretty worthless, pretty much the only gifts I got were a 20$ gift card to Target and a 50$ gift card to anchor blue. I didn't get anyone anything because I have nothing.
Christmas is retarded because it's just a govt/corporate yearly reminder that I don't fit into the standards of living/production that everyone else deems fit. "Spend your money on shit to show your family how well off you are, or don't and show them how much you suck"
New pair of headphones since the old ones broke (note to self: never buy anything from Steelseries again), but more importantly, a pair of nice shoes to wear with the tuxedo!

Go All Blacks!
This is what we're doing next year. I took a big net loss on gift giving this year and gave everyone all sorts of cool shit. Some of the recipients didn't even get me a gift . My mom had the same experience, my grandparents and sister totally cleaned up haha. Normally we just have appetizers and a small dinner, next year we're not doing gifts but we're going to do a full turkey and a big feast.

My Dad got me a Belt Sander as his own personal way of telling me to "SAND THE ****ING DECK"
He also mailed me a christmas card which, instead of containing Cash or a voucher, proceeded to contain Sandpaper with the words "Tough Love" written on the inside.

it would be curious to compare this poll result on teamliquid vs a site like... deviantart maybe. lol... would "electronics" go down? or is electronics the way to go for everyone nerd or not nowadays.
Nothing. Although we had a great dinner and we had an awesome in-depth conversation on life and beliefs with my brother and parents, we don't do presents at christmas.
