The context in which you talk about it suggests that you acknowledge that it can happen outside of this particular situation; otherwise how else would you be able to draw the implied comparison you did.

If you had bothered to actually absorb the details in the story, nine out of the ten known victims (which I'm pretty sure constitutes "most") are pressing charges against the woman. Now, I don't know about you, but I don't believe they'd be doing that if they didn't mind what she did to them.
