i think it's justified that he got arrested, even though it seems kind of unfair for him. if it was easy for him to be seen he should have put on some clothes, buy some curtains, or move somewhere more private. moreover, it's just safer this way, or else any pervert who feels like parading himself in front of a window can do so in the comfort of his home.

Yeah this story is getting blown up because she's the wife of a police officer. I mean, if your wife called you and told you about a man in the neighborhood flashing her and your son, you'd probably get the man arrested too.
The guy is completely innocent though, he woke up before the sun was up to make some coffee and probably wasn't even thinking of anyone seeing him being as no one is up at that time, let alone walking around in the dark.

Instead of asking other members of the neighborhood about prior incidents, what the police should be doing is to check the record on whether or not this has been filed before. If there were no prior complains filed then how can this guy be at fault doing something in his own home at 5:30 in the morning. There are usually not a lot of things happen that early and I don't think the school would likely be opened at 5:30 AM or there be any activity occurring at that time so the proximity of his home relative to the school should not be that big of an issue. Without prior complaints filed, it might just be that the person wasn't aware that it was a problem and was not doing so under malicious intent.
