even though im chinese i never listen to cpop. or kpop or jpop for that matter. LOL seriously they all sound the same, just that jpop and kpop might be a little better because cpop just started recently, but seriously its all pretty much the same, even the music videos, always some emo ass guy who spends like half his income on his hair and some girl he's trying to get but too much of a faggot to make a move etc. yea i thought it was pretty much established that edison chan did that stunt to try and get famous cuz a lot of western people got famous from releasing sex tapes. he tried really hard to make it in hollywood and wanted to leave the whole hong kong celebrity circle but fucked up lol. i think a friend told me one of the girl's dad is triad and ordered a hit on him but he got away or someshit. hahaha pop music is so funny. | ||

Unsurprised - I always knew Edison was a dodgy little ho. I love his terrible (but sometimes weirdly catchy) music and his 'street' image. His acting was terrible back in the day, but it's actually steadily improved. (Or at least it did until his big scandal and the hilarious apology video that followed.) I'm glad he's come back recently. I missed all his silly antics. I do admit to missing all that weird tension between him and Shawn Yue though. Sometimes they seemed to be friends and others you'd read about them hating each other. I don't listen to much Cpop myself, but I do like some of the instrumentals that backed Nicholas Tse's older work. The ballads just all sound the same to me which is why I stick to other related things (but not HK or Chinese.) like Fahrenheit. | ||
