Epic sc ![]() I do like how elky always speaks so positively about SC though, comparing it to chess etc; it gives the game a good rep, The fact that ESPN cut out a small clip making it seem like elky started SC just because it was a "video game he could play professionally" isnt optimal, but elky is overall a great sport especially now that he's playing poker

It's dishonest and completely improper from my point of view. he always wore the shades even when he was an sc player he's talking about the guy in the blue sweatshirt later in the vid he has shades that cover half his face and the other face is hidden by is almost fully zipped thingy ![]() oh wow...

Hevad Khan was, I believe, known as z7-Rain and Rainkhan - perhaps some others.

Also, cool that they showed some epic starcraft. It's easy to call it a good bluff but its really just a lucky bluff. There's a reason why players like that seem good but never really accomplish anything longterm. Note I'm not saying hes bad...it's just a very shaky style of play. Ya it was a good bluff in that situation. But its not like the guy KNEW they werent holding an ace. He was just hoping they werent. If they were holding an ace, they would definitely call a loose player like that and hed go broke. Super aggresive players like that do really well when they are running well (aka their opponents aren't catching the best hand shown on the board). But when they start running into opponents that do, they lose a ton more than other players would. It all balances out. I don't know the results but I gurantee you we won't see that kid at the final table. It's one thing to make several smaller bets, size up your opponent, get a good read, then bluff him out. Its another thing entirely to just bet, raise, all in and hope and pray your opponents hand isn't strong enough. Not saying its a bad play..its actually really smart for weaker players, forces the pro to make a very hard decision but its not how the top pros play because its too luck dependent. Ya it makes for good TV but not for winning poker in such a large field. As to why they didn't show Elky that much. I'm guessing because hes not relevant to the overall tourniment...yes hes chip leader now but he also plays a semi agressive(not as much as the smurf ) style and I'm guessing he probably starts to run cold and loses most of his chips and doesnt end up making the final table. I haven't spoiled the final table for myself so once again this is just a guess. Phil Ivey...now there's a fuckin poker bad ass. What an amazing player that guy is, I think every poker fan can agree on that one.
