In what way am I being unreasonably annoying? Fact; Totti has been named Italian Footballer of the Year 5 times in the last decade = the best italian player of his generation (and seriously, don't question Italy as a world power in football)= not fucking ''ordinary''. It's a disgrace to see him being called that. If you don't see that Totti is being unfairly treated by most people who aren't directly a fan of him, then you are blind and biased as hell. I have experienced countless times both IRL and in different forums how people will behave in the way I mentioned earlier; completely ignoring all the positive things Totti does, lurking in the dark and then when he finally stumbles they jump forward going ''Told you so, Totti is an asshole and he sucks!''. Do you have any idea how frustrating it is when Totti gets heaped with shit, despised by everyone for saying ''Vaffanculo'' to a ref when Del Piero gets away with it unnoticed just weeks afterwards? Hated for spitting on Poulsen (who has proven on several occasions what a dickhead he is (hitting swedish players in the stomach FTL)) and then see the same people go ''Materazzi is a piece of shit, I hate him and would've done the same thing as Zidane'' when Zidane did his thang '06 (and that wasn't the only time Zidane got redcarded for headbutting someone, he did it earlier in his career as well)? I am of course biased when it comes to Totti but you will never see me defending actions such as the spitting incident, kicking Balotelli or diving, and I'm not being hypocritical in my critism of other players, treating them unfairly because of my own personal feelings for them in the same way Totti-haters literally always do. I despise Cronaldo, I hate Zidane, but I'm fucking impressed as hell by their positive attributes on the pitch and I watch players of their calibre everytime I have the chance to even if I dislike them (Zidane, please come back; I'm 100% sure you could still be world class!). The same thing can not be said about 99% of the people who hate Totti. I hate to see players dive, but I do not complain only when certain people do it. This thread is like a schoolyard and you are all bullies who gather around me and try to maltreat me because I'm different. It's really easy when you're 20 to 1 isn't it? I refuse to believe that everyone who's interested in football on this forum really fails to understand how good Totti really is (''Imo, he is one of the most talented players that Italian football has ever created, especially as a playmaker'' is the closest thing I've seen to a proper compliment, TY). are you all that shallow? I don't know if any of you have experienced it, but it feels exaclty the same way as when I try to explain to friends why I want to stay at home because I want to see this korean kid (Flash) play SC.
