It's great to see City not make it into the top 4, they can still sign some big players but hopefully it does slow down their dominiation.

I'm not too suprised that Harry could get a CL spot because in the last 2 years I believe they spent more than the big 4 and only City spent more than them, Around 150+ million.

On the Totti thing, Holegerius is right, as a casual Serie A watcher it'll be easy to remeber Totti as the Roma captain kicking Balotelli, I'm not a fan of Balotelli but that was really poor of Totti to do imo.

Why would it be hilarious? He took a team in crisis and got them to play 24 league games in a row without a single loss. I'd say Roma are in a strong position to win Serie A next season (unless they fail hard during the mercato) when Ranieri will start off without being 10+ points behind the leaders.

Because he is simply not a kind of coach that can win a league. I agree he has been pretty good in lifting up the whole team in crisis (not with Juve) and he actually has a talent of identifying the potential player like he did with Valencia and especially Chelsea. But the way he handles the big characters in the team is just questionable. He can build the team with players capable of winning title but he cannot lead that team to win. He is known for usually leading the team to crash under the pressure instead

I dont see why you always bring up "taking over the team in crisis and winning 24 consecutive games". Thats an achievement and he had done such kind of accomplishment with other teams before Roma, e.g Valencia. But when critical moment comes, it shows the real spirit of the team and the importance of the coach. I dont want to specify the tactical flaws of his decision in many important matches and I am sure you also realize that.

I bring that up because that's the big picture; Ranieri has gotten more points during his time in Roma than Inter has during the same time. If he had been at Roma since the start it's reasonable to assume that Roma would be at the top of the table now. During that streak he managed to get wins in both the super extremely critical and high pressure games vs Inter and Lazio recently and got Roma to the #1 position. I believe in Emperor Ranierus!
