Past few days I had some pretty good score including my first PP gains since 6 months ago + Show Spoiler + Maplinkrandom rank 6 + Show Spoiler + + Show Spoiler + + Show Spoiler + Lastly this map is just about the best mid bpm DT practice map: It has the typical jump patterns massed about the entire map, in ridiculous length sometimes. Gotta practice this still I turn off the sound! (cause I don't really like the music) Keep improving! | ||

And don't worry about your play count, it doesn't mean anything. Many people play offline, unranked maps, or even practice difficulties of certain parts of a song which all don't contribute to play count. I spam restart songs all the time when I hit a few 100s which buffers my play count heavily but I couldn't care less. The only thing that even matters is whether or not you are constantly improving. | ||

I've improved a ton in the last 9 months ~ mostly in some areas that i was weaker (streaming, OD with non-singletaps, reading) it's very hard for me to just jump in and set top scores, much of my top scores are 6-12 months old. I worked very hard for the vast majority of them though (some with hundreds of retries) and they were in a period where i was playing like every day even for 10-30 minutes, so muscle memory, consistency and time from starting game to actually playing well was down a lot compared to when i play now. Also i verified a couple days ago i can play tablet fine when very drunk (well, with quite a lot of random misses  ) but mouse doesn't work at all On that subject (skill and playing a lot) i feel i'm at a point now where i could play every day and practice and go for a magic girl dt fc (very high 200's pp) or play some other maps, but not really enjoying the game enough to throw myself at wall for those scores. It's fun to play and improve sometimes though, i think i've just had enough of retrying 200 times on the spot to get a 99% FC instead of a 97% FC. here's one i have pretty much in the bag speed-wise but i struggle with reading on ar9 and aiming on HR. This was soo close to an FC (the cursor was way within hit area of the circle so i must have missed the available time by like 5 milliseconds) some 10.33 255bpm ^notelock death both 1-try plays so i'm happy with my level to be able to do that | ||

Also I need more high 5, low 6 star maps with low-medium bpm. Every 25 unranked maps I download give me 1 that isn't terrible. | ||

Every 25 unranked maps I download give me 1 that isn't terrible. seems like the majority of maps that are decent quality are aimed at like 10-30k rank (which is actually not a bad rank any more, that's like the 5-15k of a year ago) | ||
