Yes, it makes it impossible to guarantee a 300 on an od9 DT map (like remote control) even if played by a robot. the effects are obvious even on od8 though. Specifically, they only check for keystrokes when rendering new frames. As a result, there would be a net average delay of 8.34ms (so you'd have to try hit everything 8.34ms early so that your average hit was bang on perfect timing) but on top of that, there would be a +-8.34ms variance. You could press the button at the ideal time, yet still get a 100 from hitting it too early OR too late due to the huge variance compared to the OD strictness. It would also completely throw off all of the hitsounds as they're based on the same system overall it's just a huge mess of holy fuck no | ||

DAMN next play he got 846 combo with 1x 100 and then broke it seems plausible that he could retry a third time and HR SS it and that's holy fuck scary. He just did 1x miss, 3x 100 and i think no sliderbreaks - in literally two plays today  he stopped playing after like 4-5 serious plays, got close but didn't get better score. Amazing though <3 . <3 | ||

So many people from other games complain that they cant get a feel for osu's timing, and I'd bet that's very likely because it's tied to the framerate. Once input is completely decoupled from framerate it should feel a lot better. | ||

Twice back to back. I wasn't really ready to record either time - but damn. He almost SS'd the map with HR twice in like 4 plays He just downloaded United and fc'd it first try with HR, 99% acc. I didn't see that one  | ||
