games will never be the same i think as long as they cater to the casual fans for that dolla dolla bill

harada said they put rage into t6 for that very reason. to give the weaker player a feeling that he could win regardless of the skill gap. and we all know rage is a bullshit mechanic

Tokido looked really happy was watching the casuals of mvc2 for about 30 minutes and i said to him "this game is better than marvel 3" and he smiled and said "yes very much"...

VDO came from loser bracket and played real smart vs my homeboy krazzy in grand finals but krazzy was doing good until decided to choke and tried to counterpick from msp to mstron (which is actually a worse matchup, ken shoryu assist eats tron assist free)... when he switched to tron vdo turn and said "What I do wrong man I thought we was cool" which made all of us laugh. there might have only been 12 of us watching (8 entered the tournament) but mvc2 was more hype than 3 in my book even if we were all out of practice from 3 and the scene had already been dying before... plus since i knew i was going to lose free i had some fun playing jill psy tron

if you want more vids of him watch the mysticgaming mvc2 stream from psn pretty often (maybe every night)... he's in there pretty often sporting 20 game win streaks with the occasional loss to both top tiers and low tiers

in mvc3 my friends kevin bacon, toomuchdamage, clint all got in top 16... last atl tournament before final round the results were 1) bacon, 2) toomuchdamage, 3) me, 4) clint... at final round pools clint sent me to losers and then i got blown up by a zero player from florida...
pro tip: if you want to do a mixup an mvc2 player will not block, do any of the moves that cross up in the corner because that shit did not exist in the same way in mvc2 there were no corner crossups unless a previous move made the character suck in out of the corner by a few pixels

edit: having played skullgirls at season's beatings, that build that only had fillia and shit was still really really good
