Nah, its doable, I played hard carries when I pugged with euros, as long as it's consistent, it's fine. When it gets above 250 then it gets too hard, but 150-200 is just play 1 or 2 seconds ahead.

It's not lag that makes last hitting hard, it's inconsistent lag. So long as you have a consistent ping and you adjust to it you should be fine. It's when the lag is unexpected (so you aren't adjusted to it) or inconsistent (so you can't predict the lag on your next attack because it varies) that it really kills your ability to play.

Ha! Hardly. I just got use to it and never let it get to me like some players do. I can understand the lag complaint when you're playing top-flight players but rarely you get to play those kind of players. Just don't put yourself in a situation where the lag matters and you'll be golden.

I'll say it did break me out of my spamming habits though.

When I came back from my break, my ISP for some reason or another dropped packets or had spikes every 3-4 seconds. Trying to play DotA with that connection was seriously challenge mode, like I had to plan around that so much.

Slickz plays with 400-500 ping on DR and still does crazy disjoints with the ult. It's certainly harder but there are people out there capable of managing with that kind of ping.

Anyone played the new HoN hero already?

He was in a game but no idea if he's actually capable of getting anything done because their team got stomped... al i know is that he looks pretty fucking ugly

re:ping, constant ping isn't too bad up to like 300 (personal preference, I know others can manage good with higher ping. Although most bitch at like 150, pretty lulzy). Playing with constant spikes though is a total nightmare. Forget last-hitting, you basically have to get lucky every single time, since you can't predict how long it would take after you right click that the hero actually stops moving and starts winding up the attack.

All I have to say is LOL at Yoda, SeBusca, Fuji, Korok, and Riser (edit lol and bdiz). So EG is gone now?

As hilarious as the HoN competitive scene has been, I can say Korok, Testie, and SeBusca on one team makes me quite happy.
