jk, here's what they said in the last kickstarter update Xol is also still in the works behind the scenes. We’re polishing their animations, adding more VFX, and crafting their unique music tracks. I'm guessing they're hiding the Xol to make a big attention-grabbing reveal next month. Zerospace needs to show something new and fresh to make people talk about the game at all, which won't happen if they'll just stick to showing Protectorate vs Grell skirmishes. The Legion already feels like a barely noticable sibling of the former two, so they can't really squeeze anything out of revealing new legionary stuff. The Xol need to make a splash. I very am very worried that the Xol will have some glaring, obvious design flaws comparable to Stormgate's Celestials. Won't stop me from getting the game but I'd like to have someone to play against.

If anything I think recall is an interesting way to give a race an out that struggles to control the map due to being slow. Obviously the self-building structures are part of the cannon rush problem, but it's not like tower rush in other games doesn't exist. And T probably has more bunker rushes in competitive games on vod than P has cannon rushes. Invisibility sucks in any PvP game tbh, idk why game devs love it so much. Fully agreed that nobody liked DTs. I think P's design issues stem from lacking a solid backbone unit, warpgate negating defender's advantage for reinforcements and the race not really having a solid tool to control the map.

This is completely under the radar. I understand that "marketing" costs money but come on, there are enough community figures with reach who can do something with very little. Player numbers are not looking too good either with between 200-300 players. On another note though, there is a (singeplayer) RTS with close to 6000 players https://steamdb.info/app/4776100/charts/

Is it in EA or closed beta? If its beta i dont really care. Im just interested on the SP aspect.

There is nobody working at Frost Giant any more. According to their own recent SEC filing, Frost Giant had a negative number as a line item for salaries in December 2025. Also, their office address is now a house. Of course, Tim Morten still has the keys to the website and the email list, so he can click a few buttons and send out an email if he wants. That doesn't mean anybody is getting paid.
