but when you have a whole bunch of attackers, it's hard to decide which ones to put together, and as a result the chemistry isn't really there and the team suffers as a whole...but i'm probably just talking out of my ass...

Riquelme might not sign with Atletico Madrid. Anyways, 3:30 hours until the deadline and no news about it. However, they just signed Thiago Motta from Barcelona. A totally lotto signing. Could live up to the expectations he once created or remain as a mediocre player. Aguirre, Atletico´s coach likes to do a lot of rotations, so ofensive players overbooking its not a problem. However the defense is, cause it sucks.

Riquelme might sign for Everton

That will be so sexy, i get to watch a lot of EPL games and it will be awesome to see one of my all time fav players week in and week out. And offcourse a midfield of Riquelme and Arteta is to die for.
Very similar players.

If this move happens...Everton will shurely join Arsenal as my 2 fav teams in the EPL

I kinda thought Sevilla would be really inspired and Milan wouldn't be this good but wow, Milan is tough. Their lineup is almost the exact same from last year's champion's league final but everyone they have works so well together and their midfield with Gattuso, Ambrosini, Pirlo, and then going forward with Kaka, Seedorf, is truly awesome. It was nice how Sevilla prayed for Puerta after their goal and Kaka pointing to Puerta's name on his shirt after his goal. Really touching

I agree that Riquelme shouldn't go to England, premiership football focuses more on physical ability than technical skill which is the exact opposite of Roman's style. I can just imagine his first game, every defender tackling him below the knees two footed because they can't win the ball fairly, Roman gets injured for the season because of a horrible tackle. His style is best suited for La Liga.

Also, anyone who watches the Bundesliga know Shao Jia Yi? The Chinese international on Energy Cottonbus. He is currently the only Chinese player playing in a premier division in Europe right now. I've watched one game of him and he seems pretty promising with decent technical skills although he is usually a subsitute. I wanna get some non biased opinions on him.

Zulu: I guess that would explain why i can catch Energy cottbus games on Chinese sports channel. I saw the game Nurnberg vs Energy, he came on the field(the pitch, if i came from England) at the 70 minute. Didnt see much about him. Perhaps next game.

On the Premiership, we are starting to see the regular pattern we are used to see every year, with Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal on top. However Man U is trailing behind, and we can clearly see the loss of Ronaldo(suspension over now) and Rooney showing. However with Ronaldo's return and the suprising Louis Saha scoring on his first match as a sub, they still have a shot. Aston Villa as usual is the Chelsea killer, but its still to early to count them out. Arsenal/liverpool tied, the entire pressure is on Liverpool, while Arsenal's young team can improve with less pressure. Man city's is having offensive trouble(both teams from manchester have), but they will still be a contender to the top 5. One team to look out for also, is Newcastle, with micheal Owen finally waking up after a long long sleep...

Bundesliga: Bayern. Thats all i gotta say.

Ligue 1: Lyon is climbing, but Nancy is just so dominant(still haven't dropped a game), it is by far the most interesting league so far..

La Liga& Serie A: Still early to call for prediction, but so far no big upset(minus Valencia losing 0-3 first match).
