I kinda thought Sevilla would be really inspired and Milan wouldn't be this good but wow, Milan is tough. Their lineup is almost the exact same from last year's champion's league final but everyone they have works so well together and their midfield with Gattuso, Ambrosini, Pirlo, and then going forward with Kaka, Seedorf, is truly awesome. It was nice how Sevilla prayed for Puerta after their goal and Kaka pointing to Puerta's name on his shirt after his goal. Really touching

Right, same compared to "last year champions league final".
On the "global" situation is pretty different:
1) this year they didnt go through all "the Italian soccer scandal" which blocked the management from buying players (ibra + zambrotta were semi-signed)
2) no UCL preliminary/ no FIFA WC: finally long relaxing vacation for players
3) + Ronaldo, + Oddo, + Emerson, + Pato (from 1/1/08 but already training at Milan)
4) - Oliveira! thanks god!

I saw the game with Sevilla and that's the kind of Milan you usually see in most of the Seria A games: they play relaxed, like they dont care that much, looking for winning sure but non 100% concentred on the win... same happen yesterday evening 1-1 with Fiorentina (tough team too) at S.Siro. And the Puerta-situation (RIP) wasnt that much influent on the game imo.

Hey nvm, you are very knowledgeable in Italian futbol, I would like to know your opinion on Pirlo and Perrotta. Just what do you think about them as players, and can they be compared with world class?

On another topic, Spain is in the final of the under 17 world cup. Bojan Is awesome! but he got a red card and will miss the final, very inmature way too. I guess thats what you do when your only 17

Premiership:Well, exciting weekend for me(Arsenal fan), but its still very far from victory. The EPL as now reached the typical Arsenal,Liverpool,Chelsea,ManU. top 4. However watch for Newcastle. Their got 2 games to play and with a ''reloaded'' Micheal Owen, they might have a shot at getting a Champions League spot(but not win the EPL). Relegation wise, its quite suprising to see Bolton so low, but i doubt it will stay that way. I see Birmingham,Derby and Reading. And its good to see Sunderland fighting with Roy Keane.

Bundesliga: Quite suprised that Bayern dosent have such a big lead. But they will still stomp everybody. Armania is just no match to Bayern.

Ligue1: Woa. I watched Marseille play(they have a CL spot) and they were BAD. Just horrible. They are close to relegation, and if they play like that - Besiktas,Porto and Liverpool will stomp them in the Champions league. They played like a low table MLS team. Just bad. Lyon is coming back after a weak start, and they will try to get a 7th title in a row, but it will be a lot harder then the previous years, with the injury's they have. A very interested Ligue 1 this year.

La Liga: Real Madrid Steam train! But its still early to call anything. And i gotta say Diego Milito from Zarazoga is SOOO going to get bought from a good club if zarazoga are money whores(hes playing so well).

SerieA: im clueless when it comes to the Italian league, its so hard to catch games(i dont have access to Fox Soccer Channel, nor Fox World Sports Channel). If someone could enlight me on the Italian league this year(in particular the three following teams: Ac Milan, Atalanta and Torino).

So i did a 9 pool on an island map, so what?

So, here's the question: Is Beckham actually doing good in L.A. or he's just making money because his cute face. I personally liked his game, but is he living up to his name in the U.S football-wise?

mm.. He ended the season in real madrid with an injury, they didnt give him time to recover at all. Plus he had those international friendlies and it went something like, playing in england, game over fly to US the same night, play with LA next day.

So he kept building up in that injury to the point where it got really bad and now he cant really play for a while.

He played a couple games, scored 1 goal I think and did "ok" , but he was giving his 60% probably.

ManU was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo lucky once again vs Everton, right now they're running on pure morale. No offense whatsoever, even with Ronaldo back they still couldn't score a decent goal. But good news is Evra is the best left back in the world right now imo.

Beckham did fairly well in his games. But now hes injured and out until the next MLS season.

The L.A galaxy is just horrible though. Beckham and Donovan are the only thing that are ok.

From the games that I saw, only highlights, that Beckham is now a FAST winger in MLS. It does look pretty sad when I see it on TV. And his through pass looks better than ever, thanks to the zero positioning sense of opposite defender.

The supposedly strong teams in the premiership isn\'t really performing well it seems but then they will probably all revolve around the top of the table. However I don\'t think Man United or Chelsea will ever have it easy this season.

I can do that.

Seriously, that flick doesn't deserve a 1 minute video with 17 replays. He loses sight of the ball and lets it go out for a goal kick.

Nice move. Ronaldinho's reaction is quite funny.

To be honest, as much as its ''an honor'' to be on barca's youth, it kinda sucks cause theres like almost no way you will be able to play.

You really can play on la Liga being 17 year old and try a trick like that on the face of a goalkeeper (ex-ManU goalkeeper btw) and almost score?

You must be really good.

It doesn't matter he missed, what matters is that he tried. I can also do that trick, and I've have done it playing on the streets, but he wasn't playing on the streets. Being able to kill 20 zerlings with a storm in battlenet makes you as good as Nal_ra doing it in starleague?

yeah really millions of people can do that trick but there's a reason why you've pretty much never seen even anyone do it successfully in a game..

i guess part of the reason is that it's not really a practical trick to attempt
but another part is that it's really difficult to actually get past a good player with..

Players don't attempt it in real games because it's not practical. The fact that he attempted it in La Liga at age 17 and failed can either mean that he's brave or that he's foolish. But hell, I'm mostly criticizing the clip rather than the kid. I'm sure he's got a lot of talent.

I would never think of doing such trick in this position, not many of the players would think of it too.
If he cathed the ball earlier, before the line, he would even score goal cuz the angle would be passable. Also the 'chest move' showed the class of this young super-sniper. I have great expectations for Bojan and I hope he will not fail me ;>
