He went to Villareal but Man U still has first option on him so they can potentially buy him back for a decent price if he does well. Lesson learned from Diego Forlan, Mr. 88th minute substitue to European Golden Boot winner. yeah, i grew up with him lol. His mom taught me italian and his dad coached me in high school before he left. He's 2 years younger than me. I can't wait to see him play in the next WC =]

New United signing With Smith going to Newcastle that leaves Man U with just Saha, Rooney, Tevez who's a question mark and Solskjaer

Buyed Pato (15mln euro). He signed for 5 yrs. Official site write "from aug 3rd he could play friendly matches and from jan 3rd he could play official matches". There were rumours on this, that said Pato will go to Milan on jan 2008... instead, here he is ![]()

What does this mean? Riqueleme will play copa Sudamericana with Boca, and the Fifa club world cup in December. Assuming that he performs GREAT in this 2 cups and in Apertura 2007, by December a Big club will show interest? Atletico de Madrid, said something like if they didnt do good in the 1st games they would buy Riquelme (lol) but then again the transfer window closes the 31st As far as I know, the big clubs like riquelme as a player, but dont like the personality, as he come strong in the dressroom and kinda challenges coaches a bit, the kind of personality that pissed Pelegrini off. WHo knows what will happen, for me I more than happy to see him in Boca Juniors !! and I wish they could afford him ehehe, The fans even said they will all donate like money to the club to keep Roman in Boca

I am waiting to see him, since I got quite a good impression the last time I saw him (ManU charity match against europe all star, I was in OT) I am sure he is good, maybe not yet epl standard but he was like top scorer in belguim so I would like him to be given more chance. Did milan just made their first signing of the summer? or have I just completely missed everything. Is that what people in Britain think? If so then I am slightly relieved, no one in China thinks he has a future, he was a substitute for the chinese u-20 team during the last fifa u-20 world cup two years ago, when he didn't get any playing time he got pissed at the coach and they had a mini bust up which was when the coach tried to pat him on the back or grab his arm or something he ducked away angrily. His frustration is understandable though because he was trying to get a work permit back then and he definitely was good enough to start, not sure why he didn't.

Well, Roman doesnt fit at all in United, dont you think? would Ferguson really gamble on building a team around the moody Riquelme? and his playing style doesnt fit Premiership either. I think if this is true, he actually made a wise choice.

I won't go as far as what people in Britain thinks, but me and my friends definately think he is better than everyone we saw at some U21 in france I believe, in around June. That may not be china's first team though as I know other teams went there were not full strength.

Pique (if he stays) and Evans will hopefully be good enough. I actually think they are good enough to start getting first team football and start getting integrated into the team. And I am verrrrrrry disappointed by Fergie's decision to sell Rossi. Wtf? Gosssssh.

And apparantly Fergie wanted Rossi to stay, but Rossi wanted regular playing time so he could get a spot on the Italian team for Euro 2008. With Saha/Ole injured, Smith getting sold, and Tevez probably not being able to play until January, United have 1 striker. Rooney. Oh gosh. -_-
