In my opinion marquez isnt good enough to play in barca, I watched almost every single game of barca this season and he made big mistakes in a lot of games, especially in champions league he made a huge mistake vs chelsea i think? or bremen i dont recall exacly, Im not saying that a player should be perfect because they are all humans, but marquez just isnt good enough for barca I think.
hes linked with many clubs in seria a , including Juve, Fiore, and even milan but that last one is very unlikely.
In Barca we deff need a good right winger, and a good center defender. Other than that I dont even think the team needs more players.maybe a defensive midfilder and a good sub foward,( they shouldve kept Saviola fucking rijkard)
Thuram is too old and is not in shape for barca anymore, I dont even know why they bought him in the first place. He was really good back in day.
Iniesta, Dinho, Xavi, and Deco are perfect. Messi, Eto'o and Dos Santos are perfect Zambrotta, and Puyol are perfect too. Valdez is ok..

Barcelona needs a left back (Abidal or that Ajax leftback), and either a central back(i read Pique) or defensive mid (Toure). This season I blame their failure on injuries of top players (they took a lot to regain their level) and a simply bad year of other players possibly due to lack of motivation, arrogance or bad preseason dunno.
I see Barcelona winning the season next year, being dominant. If Madrid brings Kaka then they will put up a fight, but Barça with Eto'o(if he stays or any other top forward they get), Messi, Dinho, Dos Santos, Bojan up there is just too strong.
And Marquez, just as Rijkaard, you want them out just for one bad year? wtf makito.
edit: I believe Barça needs to get rid of Motta, Edmilson, Guddy, Giuly and Deco(Iniesta > him).

Well I never liked Rijkaard, hes not a good coach, hes a good motivator, a lot of sports critics agree with this. With all the players that barcelona had, the team couldve played by itself. Well not the 1st year, but 2 and 3 yes. Rijkaard started doing mixes of line ups and formations in very important games, instead of playing with what they knew worked. example 1st game vs zaragoza in copa del rey, clasico barca v real, first game vs liverpool, and i could keep going.
You defend marquez because of nationality, thats fine, Im not saying he sucks overall, he had a good first year, but it seemed that this year was too much for him.
I agree that Barcelonas injuries fucked up pretty bad, but saviola was there and he did awesome, 11 goals in 24 games, in which when he was playing every game he scored 8 goals in 6 games, and then rijkaard stopped using him. I think if he wouldve used Saviola more instead of eskimo they wouldve done a lot better.
I wish they bring young players not like 29> and up

you seriously think that one player even though it's kaka, agrueablely the best football player at the moment, will decide if Madrid can compete with Bacra? if you have a good collective (of course the players need a certain amount of skill) and are good defenders/fighters you can be so good and you can definitely win La Liga.
Btw, no real big club wants Saviola? that's kind of weird, he is a good forward (if he plays) and proved this several times he was even in Argentinia's (first?) squad at the worldcup in germany

I think collective play and order can only take you so far, in my opinion you need "different players" to really make it big, but indeed there have been several times when this isn´t the case (ie Greece 2004, playing horrible football but still).

Oscar Cardozo in benfica for 8M€ Bergessio probably in benfica to for 2.5M for 50% of the pass. Bayern Munich wants Klose. Mourinho says he wont have big transfers this summer and wont use a lot of money.

Saviola is supposedly wanted by many big clubs, somehow I think he is going to end up in Zaragoza which would be great. But as like ribery he said he wants to play Champions League.

Laporta (Barça's president) stated that they will sign 1 left defender, 1 center defender, 1 or 2 middlefielders and 1 or 2 forwards.

try to imagine: ManU without C. Ronaldo Real withouth van Nistelroy Barca without Messi...
past is past...done whereas future is open, anything can happen
especially Ronaldinhio gave us a good exampel how performance can change drasticly: he fucking dominated in 2006 till CL finals and is just "average" next season.

Netherlands win vs England under 21 in UEFA Europe cup or whatever. Anybody watch the penalty shootout!? ... 22 penalties (each) or something like that
|
Yea made me do an extra 30 mins at the gym watching it, it wasn't as many as 22 each, 13-12 it finished and I reckon England missed 4

Illecit economics acts, do make sense in english "false balance"? Meaning that you sell a player for 1mln and make result that you selled him for 10mln... dont know how to explain it better. Shouldnt be anything of horrible like "falsing result" (like juventus did last year) but just something REALLY stupid due for the most to inexperience (and at this level, is really LOL ).

Ya you are right fbs, did you also watch the game between serbia and belgium? It wasn't as exciting as the netherlands and england game, but it was still not bad. It should be an interesting final. Both teams seem to be keen on attacking a lot and that's always interesting.

Italian co-property ending term was 19.00 cet today. These the results. "Buste" means that the two teams didnt find an economic agree and they will go to a sort of "auction". "Rinnovo comproprietà" means that the two teams will go ahead with the co-property situation for another year.

so this means quagliarella will definitely not be co-owned for next season? and also it will be easier for utd to buy him?
|
I think it means that Sampdoria and Udinese will have an auction and the highest bidder will take him, so if the bid goes very high, ManU will have to pay over that price to make the owner team worth the deal. Probably that will make Quagliarella more expensive.
Gaby Milito linked with Real Madrid. Zaragoza recently broke negotiations with Juventus and they are now talking with RM. The funny thing is that RM was the original buyer of Milito 4 years ago but then they found a "supposed" injury in his knee (that never took place) and signed Walter Samuel instead. The result was a total failure with Samuel, and a huge success by Milito at Zaragoza and now, RM is going to pay more than three times Milito's first price.

lol thats awesome, I like milito
