I stopped playing Pokemon after Gold/Silver.

I really wish the franchise "grew up". The fact that the cartoon is overly chilidish and the brand is still childish, leaves the rest of us older kids, to be absolutely grown out of it.

From a video I saw, it looks like another ruby/sapphire souped up with multi-player options.

Pretty sure its the same formula: Few different pokemon, the "godly" pokemon at the end is probably different, and probably the same quest otherwise >_>

meh... if u take aside the fact that they are cartoons and kinda retarded things... its actaully quite a good stratagey game

Well it's not like there's going to be no more little kids ... the company that makes Pokemon will continue to regurgitate the same old material again and again because to the new generation it's supposedly new and different.

yea I'd have a difficult time going to buy this at the store lmao --

maybe ill get it shipped online later when the price goes down to see if its as bad as people say. I personally liked gold/silver the best

rofl, when i was in japan in january me and my friends thought it would be funny to visit the pokemon store

biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig mistake -.-;
place was crawling with little 5> year olds... could hardly move without hitting one of these kids.. and pearl/diamond was being advertised...

Yes, the strategy is good, but they are running out of ideas for good Pokemon, i.e. balanced movesets, or things that look original. Also, the plot is becoming increasingly generic. I think you should have to save the world as a MAIN quest, not a sidequest (getting badges is the main quest, always)

i ordered mine online( im not going in the store as a 20 year old to buy this shit forget that.) and think it should be fairly entertaining for a while like all the other ones were. i wish they would have added all the other regions into the game also and make it a huge rpg/strategy type game instead of a mini one =((((. i dont even know if it is possible though i dont know what the space limitations in a ds cartridge is and how much of it they used for this game etc.
