I assume players were bashing for peacockery, not for being healthy, for example Zeus is also working out pretty hard but he does not wear just like he goes for a seashore, get it?

It's extremely hot in the venue (hence why n0thing had a bag of ice on his head).

Can't blame them for wearing tanktops.

What an idiotic comment

I'm not that knowing in this, but I think getting like freakazoid requires alot of time and committment. It's of course ok, but if they wanna be nr 1 maybe it's too much time being consumed on that. I mean, imagine if JW started spending 4/5 hours a day practicing guitar or something

I obviously don't know their schedules but I doubt it matters much, if at all. I'd imagine that most pros normally practice for 6-8 hours a day, which still leaves them a good chunk of free time.

I don't think it's the working out per se, but rather the commitment. Imagine if olofm decided he wants to write a book, it would be cool and all, but that would be alot of time not playing cs

then again, tsm is top team, and afaik they are studying, so idk

Who told you that they wearing these just because they are working out?

ESL ESEA venue was extremely hot and ESWC venue didnt look any better. Of course they'll wear tank tops in these circumstances.

Well... if people even seem to know how long C9 are working out a day it can be expected to know the tournament conditions :D

Wrong. Three times per week, 1 hour at a time, strict food plan, some anabolic steroids injection with low to mid doses and you're fine in a couple of months. See Mike Mentzer's heavy duty training, for example. Or Dorian Yates' way of training.

For the tourney, despite the horrible production, it was a fun one. C9 are so promising and refreshing. I liked it.

If you have enough willpower & commitment, you can build a body similar to his by proper nutrition & proper training. About 4-5 days a week & 1.5 hours/day should be sufficient.

Wait, people are complaining about muscle shirts? I think muscle shirts look great if you don't have spaghetti arms, and would wear those all day if I wasn't a lazy skinny spaghetti boy.

Tbh i think complaining about muscle shirts is much more cringe than wearing them, and wearing them isn't even cringe in the first place. I don't understand why playing video games means you aren't allowed to wear muscle shirts. That's like saying it is cringe to wear athletic shorts if you're not playing sports...

Lol, being a pro player doesn't mean you are not allowed to do anything else than playing in your fucking life. What the fuck people, if they enjoy lifting shit in what would be their free time for a normal job (which several of my friends do, and it doesn't take even nearly all of it), why shouldn't they do so? Playing during every single moment you are awake doesn't make you better either. Flaming them about that sounds like jealousy to me. I'd be more concerned with the drugs shit, I'm curious as to how many teams use ADHD medication to perform better.

Completely agree. There's a point in practice (like in everything you do) were you just don't improve anymore. If people really start to expect that pros play 12-14 hours a day then they have to be reminded of the fact that pros: 1. won't get better just because they grind more games 2. will just burn out at such a rate of playing.

Free time is necessary, especially if you want to improve as much as you can. And for a lot of people sports, e.g. working out, is actually a hobby. I don't understand why this is even worth a discussion :D

Also if he feels happy and more healthy doing it then I am sure he becomes a better player for it
