If I was to get a another hard pad, what would be a good replacement? Would a cloth pad have any friction that could simulate the hard pad? Right now lowering my sens compensates for the lack of friction but I really don't like the extra strain on my mouse hand from the change. | ||

You should try one and see if you can get used to it. If not go back to whatever is comfortamble for you. I use a Roccat Taito for example which is big, cheap and very good. There's also a version of it with additional friction i think. | ||

Using Steelseries 9HD atm and loving it (I think it's out of production, but you can still get it if you look around. The little brother 4hd is still being made). By far the best hard mat I have had. | ||

Man those swiping sounds ... and yeah I remember one of the first hard ones I tried back in the day was the ratpad I hated it. It was much smaller than the ones they have now. The only reason I got it was because the ony decent cloth pads then were those allsops but they were to small Im talking like 2002, and it was the only one we could get because we had to ask someone visiting Dubai to get it for us. QCK+ is win. | ||

I mean... It makes a pretty big difference. With 10k you have to buy tier two weapons in the 3rd round, if you lose the first two. And it also seems to favour CT, as they usually favour more AWPs, and have more expensive weapons. I've only seen 10k being used, until today. | ||

MR3 - Max Rounds 3, is the one you see more often. Each team plays 3 round halves, and have 10k starting money. Pros: quicker, forces teams to still kind of manage economy, because if CTs lose first two rounds, they'll have a really weird force buy on the last round. Cons: Tends to cause double/triple/infinite OTs. MR5 - Max Rounds 5, is not as often used, but as you said, is used in Starladder. As it says, each team plays 5 round halves, and have 16k starting money. Pros: less worrying about money, IIRC both sides should be able to have some sort of rifle buy all 5 rounds (unless they go awp/autosniper all the time or something). Less likely to go into double OT. Cons: idk? not as popular lol. Initially takes longer, so maybe that's why, you're playing potential extra 10 rounds, instead of just 6. | ||
