Dronebabo hasn't done a very good job arguing in this thread, probably because Incontrol, while being unnecessarily abrasive, has been right for the most part and because he (dronebabo) is arguing more because of a personal dislike he has for Incontrol that stemmed from outside of this discussion. I'm not sure what Smurg is trying to accomplish in this thread as his posts have been pretty pointless and consisted mostly of groundless opinion on Americans, which I hope are intended to be jokes or he's just "ignorant".

I'm sorry did the fucking aussie just say Americans have funny accents? I dont mean to be a .. Australian Stereotypical Biggot or ASB, but Aussies are the ones regarded as silly monkey men who make other people laugh when they speak.
To be honest I met a lot of American people in my travels through Europe. Some were ignorant, arrogant, rude & all of that. But I'm sure we see these people in lots of demographics.
Of course my comments were unjustified as I cannot adjudicate properly because I simply have not met every American. For the most part, Americans at TL.net are fairly nice, funny & haven't really attacked me in a negative way.
I don't often participate in flame-wars and if I do, it's with silly quips that don't really prove much. I don't see the point in arguing small points like this.
And yes I agree with Cyric it's due to a personal dislike of Incontrol that babo continued his flaming (flameage). But that's a good enough reason if any.
I propose that incontrol be banned because he hates on asians wayyy too much. i'm pretty sure he's racist. whenever a topic that could be linked to asians comes up, incontrol is always there to make a deriding comment about asians. this is not acceptable and frankly it's very annoying. he tries sometimes to cover it up a bit and make it slightly less offensive by saying it is a "joke", but it's clear, at least to me, that he has a racist mind set. if incontrol is not going to be banned, then i want to ask incontrol to please cool it with the racist and/ or derogatory remarks that are obviously offensive and unpleasant to hear.

There is no brink for mocking someone and their stereotype. You realize you are being a fucking hippocrite? People call americans fat, peruvians poor, blacks dumb and asians short. Just because I happen to find humor in the angry ass asian defenders on this forum doesn't mean you need to ignore those who generalize americans (Smurg in this very thread) or the various other forms of immature generalizations previously mentioned. This is a bw forum. We are all relatively young adults / teenage kids. We are going to mock things and make off color remarks. As long as they are within reason and maybe even hold some merit they are tolerated. If you need further analysis on this read Cyric's comment or CharlieMurphy's short but wise statement.

Since it seems to be popular with the tabloids to post these celebrity without make up pictures on their cover or "look at this celebrity who got fat and how ugly she is now", makes me wonder if people photoshop them to make them worse. It seems to sell.

That Eva pic is all over the place and I'm pretty sure it's not photoshopped. And can you imagine how much freaking airbrushing goes into the complimentary pics? It's bad either way.
