Still so funny when people act like Mango can't be beaten as long as he plays his best
Actually I'm somewhat happy to see Mango placing only third, every time he plays he makes so many mistakes it's unfathomable how he always does so well. <_<
PP's gameplay looks by far the best and I hope his wins this tournament as well.
Do you actually think anyone is actually good at any game because based on your posts here and in the LoL LR threads it sure doesn't seem so.
PP's good. Armada was good, not so much now. Amsa is good.
Amsa is good but M2K, Mango, and Armada aren't? :O
Well, they're good but they miss the easy things. Armada's not as good as he used to be.
They miss the easy things? Have you ever picked up a controller?
I've played the game for 10+ years, my record's 12 JC shines in a row, I can drillshine inverse infinite Mario from 0 to 100%.
And what's your smash nickname? I've been to multiple tournaments in Finland and know all the good finnish players, I've never heard of "shikyo".
Well I guess that's normal, ijuka.
My "recent" activity is I went to MasterTK's summer olympics and played casuals and in September went to MasterTK's place for the weekend and we played some hundred matches with him and some others.
I'm not trying to say I'm the best player in the world, I consider myself completely terrible as well. I do have differing definitions for "good" than most people of course. But asking if I've ever picked up a controller is still off.
I believe I won practically every tournament I entered in Finland from 2004 until late 2007.
Here's some things from 2007. I'm not sure how the availability of my "recent" material is. I'm currently not that good although I've been trying to start practicing again. IJK tag.
Anyway, wallteching for example was a pretty big thing for us, that's why I'm really not sure why people aren't able to do those at all. For example in the clip starting at 8:29 in that video.

Yeah M2K won 2 straight games and then when Esam was knocked down to his last stock in game 3 (vs. 2 stock M2K), he just left. And during games 2 and 3 he was joking with his friends and clearly stopped thinking he could win lol. So I guess he just quit because he knew he was outmatched... easy 3-0 from M2K.
Kinda makes me sad how easily Melee pros are able to tear through PM brackets. I know they have way more experience but it's kind of a bummer when people who main PM just get bodied by the old Melee guard.
