Btw: You said balance is not a problem, yet a BM getting 2-3 decent items changes basically every game. Isn't this balance for you?

Well here's an extreme example. A fair coin toss is balanced. But it's boring, because it doesnt involve skill.
In a way, I feel that while a bm with items changes every game in favor of the orc, it is my impression that if he does not get any item, the orc rarely wins. I would very much like to see a statistical evaluation of "number of good bm items found" and "orc winrate".
Now I'm not saying that luck is that much of a factor. But yeah, as my impression is that that orcs a kinda figured out (they seem to be slightly underepresented at pro level), it might be that most orc matchups come down to itemluck/itembadluck, and here the effect of luck might actually balance the matchup, by making it more coin-toss-y. Thats just my hypothesis however.
In general I very much agree that the game is probably in its best state of balance througout its entire time of existence.

Yeah, ultimately like, something can be statistically balanced but still stupid, whether it be stupid to play against, or stupid in that, there's only 1 viable playstyle.
Really cool! One thing I've kinda been irking at, is that if you're a good map creator, how do you get your map adopted for competitive play? Or at least ladder?

i do think that blademaster('s critical strike) & Tanks are imbalanced and need fix!
but the imba-whining is ridiculous and I love the current state of the meta-game, except NvO, which is boring :D

Regarding your question,Im afraid the short short answer is: You dont.
Blizzard had some map contests in the early stages of tft but after that, nothing. I have no idea how w3arena introduces maps. wc3cl and nwc3l have several custom maps, yet I believe many of them are also around for ~10 years; decide for yourself if that counts as "competitive play".

What's goin' on ? the clan disband thing was a migration error which was restored , unfortunately we have to reassemble our clans again , but account reset ? when did that happen ????
