Yeah, the problem is still being able to aggressively creep and prevent expansions while doing so. If you are still getting statues, which you are, you are losing those resources elsewhere. It is very difficult to get this supreme banshee army without being chipped away at through creep jacks or just being very outleveled. Or they just grab an expansion.

I don't think so. He hasn't popped up in SC, LoL or DotA which would be the obvious transition. Moonglade is the only Aussie WC3 player who did anything post WC3 to my knowledge.

Afaik I know, Philbot had the account with the longest winning streak on ladder after the 1.14(?? I think that was the patch) matchmaking change with 122-0.

I don't recall Tak3r having a longer streak, but there is also the distinction between the two match making systems.

As I remember, it was a case where there was really no one on EU who had a remotely favorable chance of being Zacard and it was just Zacard living in Germany for a bit for...WC3L?

Man I miss the WC3L days. At least I think that's what it was called. That amazing clan league. Such great matches.

Do we have anyone around here playing on NetEase? I liked the idea of playing on a more developed server than W3A, but my ping was bad. I was considering using VPN to try to get a more direct connection and I'm wondering if anyone has done anything similar.

I also lost my netease installation because I had to reinstall windows. Anyone got a guide to get setup on that?

WC3L was really amazing. I can't believe SC2 never had a comparable league given how big it was. I took for granted how awesome those team battles were. I'm trying to make a similar format happen in my current game (Melee) sometime in the future.

I think a ping accelerator might help you with your adventures on Netease. I have tried some of them and they helped a bit even though I tends to be unstable during peak times on Netease.

I would although say that I prefer W3Arena way more, since it actually has a widescreen option. (that isnt strecthed.)
