Probably want to keep the distinction between the two markets. If people enjoy one element a lot more than another, it might have them stray away.

Other than that Titanfall, Battlefront, MGS5, Dragon Age 3 and The Witcher 3 are games I'm interested in so far. Ryse had way too much quick times imo aaaaaaaaand it's for the Xbox One which I'll not buy, well if Sony screws up their conference like crazy I'd reconsider ... Maybe.

Nintendo's conference is scheduled for Tuesday. However, I don't think they're 'fucked', per se. Even the Wii had a slow start, until it found its place. Also, they're coming out with titles that will and have in the past sold their consoles.

The Wii U is fine as long as its unique IPs still exist. They have yet to debut a lot of there major IPs and if they were to say just be like new Zelda game new Mario game new metriod then they are just fine. Heck if they FINALLY announce they are making another game in orcarina series (which they should) they could very easily go from worst to first.

so far I would say the coolest game demo was Titanfall. MGS5 had a cool trailer (although not as cool as trailers for MGS3 or 4) but I want to see more gameplay. The division seemed kinda underwhelming, especially when it was like the 6th game of that type to be announced/shown today. Which is a bummer because Massive used to make really cool games and I thought they were basically reduced to only making multiplayer maps for Ubisoft games. So my hopes got really high for like 2 minutes when I found out they were making a new game lol

http://www.joystiq.com/2013/02/21/sony-ps4-can-play-used-games/ If the PS4 comes in noticeably cheaper than the XBone, then the XBone has lost this generation before the competition has even started. Can't believe I took so long to find this information. As for interesting games: Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare Project Spark Yea, that's about it so far. I'm staying far, far away from Dragon Age after everything that's happened, and I am extremely skeptical of FPS's now, so my list is rather short.

For all we know the PS4 is exactly the same way but hasn't been as clear about it. From the sounds of it all the used game stuff is being forced on consoles from 3rd parties, so there's no reason to believe that PS4 won't have extremely similar restrictions. Hopefully that won't be the case, but there's really no reason to believe it won't be.

PvZ: Garden Warfare could be fun, but I think itll feel too much like orcs must die. I kinda prefer the old one.

Well there's an interview with a Sony executive from May that the PS4 will work offline just as well for it's core functions Reasoning beeing : " "The main reason being that many countries don't have robust internet connections. It makes sense for people to have internet connections to play online games, but for offline games there are many countries that we saw do not really have robust internet." So whatever the DRM is i don't think it'll force you to connect your PS4 to the internet for what it's worth. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-05-08-sony-definitively-rules-out-always-online-for-ps4
