Added the second chinese team and hk qualifier. Apparently only 4 LCQ spots for SF4. Dakou was using gen at the chinese qualifiers so that leaves only 4 characters unrepresented (Dhalsim, Oni, Gouken, Deejay)

Half of Dakou/RF/XiaoHai finals: http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XNDMwOTg0Mjc2.html
Finals for UD/Lin/Jie: http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XNDI1OTA4ODk2.html

Also capcom is on the schedule to be announcing a new game on Day 2 of SBO

well Mihe plays on 360 pad and they aren't allowing those at SBO so the chances of Japan winning have gone up!

The MLG pad lets you change the joystick/dpad around, and its pretty similar to the 360 pad in layout, so maybe he'll use that. I'm not very knowledgable on the quality of that pad though, so it may be a terrible idea.

Wow, can't believe Hakan and Dan are represented but Gouken isn't.

Isn't Hakan considered legit low tier?

Hakan is pretty bad against a lot of the cast, but he dominates some matchups. That's why Infiltration has him as one of his subs.

Kuroda Boss Mov.

Why are they even playing the tournament, just give them the trophy.

For those wondering WTF Aquaplazza is, it's a fighter with characters from popular visual novels/SLGs made by the company Leaf including Utawarerumono, Tears to Tiara, White Album and To Heart. It's a fairly fun game though it's nothing really groundbreaking.

So, is there anywhere with more detailed information about the stream and its schedule? The link to IPW didn't really answer any of my questions; namely, what is the URL of the stream? What games can I watch for free? What time are the games going to be shown?

It's more like almost $20 for one day.

day1: http://live.nicovideo.jp/watch/lv102177425
day2: http://live.nicovideo.jp/watch/lv102179287

I don't believe any of the games will be free to watch, there was an exhibition this morning that was free. Beyond that they restreamed SBO 2011, don't know when though since I wasn't bothered, was/is sometime today or yesterday.

Edit: found schedule. http://www.tougeki.com/fes_timetable

Day1:
11:40 VF5
13:10 TTT2
14:20 SF4
16:10 SC5

Day2:
11:40 AquaPazza
12:45 P4U
13:30 3rd strike
15:15 umvc3

I believe the 2nd column is finals, but I don't know enough kanji to read it.

Nope. We'll be lucky if we even see a non-japanese player on stream.

SBO looking like a joke this year... Apparently the cabs are lagging and there is massive glare as well since the event is being held outside this year... Does winning count if you can't see anything on the screen? I feel so bad for all the players competing in the last chance qualifiers right now

FYI I dunno if u did the op manually, but for 3rd strike winners for 2010, MOV played chun li and Kuroda played Ken I'm pretty sure, not the other way around

Also, Kuroda playing oro this year? Ridiculous that his mechanics are so strong he can make any character look top tier

Of course not, the event isn't intended to be watched by foreigners.

Zhi ‏@Zhieeep
Most top Japanese players have abandoned any semblance of a true competition at Tougeki and have started drinking alcohol at the venue.

LOL.

Since he is known for not exactly always saying the truth and being a dick, I definitely wouldn't trust his words.
